"I'll be back soon" I told Chres . " Where you going?" He said holding a baby in each arm. "To take care of some business." I kissed him goodbye and walked out . I headed downtown . This place brought back memories. The broken windows , raggedy houses , and a crackhead on every corner . my old neighborhood. I pulled out to a brick house and got out of my Bugatti. I doubled locked my car and headed up the crumbling brick steps. I knocked lightly . a woman answered thank god she was here. "long time no see" she said motioning for me to come inside . I walked in the house immediately crinkling my nose . it stank like bad cheese , old lady perfume , and cigarettes. she had men's laid everywhere and comdoms . she still was a lady of the night . she said what my attention was drawn to a quickly responded . "it's temporary until I get my job back ." I rolled my eyes . "you said that 5 years ago" I mumbled . she looked my way but didn't show emotion. i knew she felt ashamed. "well what do you need?"
