Chapter 3

Penn Badgley as Dan Bieber

Justin's pov:

Since I had fallen back asleep trying to close out my dad and Dan's singing I woke up Sunday at noon. My head felt a lot better and I felt more like myself again. I took the covers off me then I got up from the bed very slowly so I wouldn't get a head rush. Only when I did stand up I felt really nause as so I ran fast in to the bathroom and threw up.

Soon I felt a hand on my back rubbing soothing circles and I recognized the hand as Dan's.

"I'm here buddy" he said as I just emptied my stomach. Since I hasn't eaten since Friday, all I threw up was bile and it tasted like crap.

Dan just kept rubbing soothing circles on my back and when I was done he helped me up.

Dan helped me brush my teeth and then helped me down the stairs and in to the living room.

"Thanks Dan" I said and he loosened his grip on me to see if I could walk by myself, and it was a little wobbly but I made it to the couch and sat down carefully.

"Jer will be back soon, he just went out shopping for tonight, we have some really exciting news to tell you" Dan said smiling big and it was like I hadn't had a concussion at all.

"I'M GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER?!" I flew off the couch as I shouted happily and Dan smiled super big.

"I guess you already figured it out" he said chuckling just as dad walked in through the door.

I ran up to dad hugging him tight and he dropped the bags with groceries.

"Well I see you are feeling better" he said hugging me.

"No I feel like shit, but I'm going to be a big brother, so I'm happy" I said with a big smile and he hugged me tighter.

"Let's make some lunch and we will tell you everything" dad said and kissed my head.

I let go of dad and ran back to Dan and hugged him tight as he held me close.

"I'm so happy for you guys" I mumbled in to Dan's shoulder.

"Well we have more to tell you so let's make lunch and Jer and I will tell you everything" he said as I let go of him, and nodded as we walked in to the kitchen, and it was like I forgot I had a concussion or that I felt sick.

When the lunch was done and we sat down eating some sandwiches and some potatosallad Dan had made yesterday they both smiled and took each other's hands.

"Ok so Justin you already figured out what we were going to tell you, and yes you are going to be a big brother but not to just one, but two; a girl Jazmyn 8 years old and a little boy Jaxon 6 years old" Dad said and my smile couldn't be bigger.

"Really!" I said super happy as Dan smiled and both dad and Dan looked at each other before they pecked each other's lips.

"I love you" dad whispered and Dan smiled even bigger and kissed dad again.

"I love you too" he said and I couldn't stop smiling.

"So when will they get here?" I asked excited.

"Friday evening" Dan said and I couldn't stop smiling.

"Jazmyn will get the room you have now Justin, and Jaxon will get the room across and you son will get the wing all to yourself, because Dan and I will be moving in to the guest room instead and the guest room will be down here instead." Dad said and I just wanted to jump around and scream of happiness but I know I couldn't.

"This is just gosh I'm the happiest kid on the earth right now" I said as Dan and dad kept kissing.

"So when are we going to start fix the rooms?" I asked super happy.

"Well since you had a concussion and all Jaxon's room is done, but the wing is waiting for your ideas and we have fixed the old office/storage room to the guest bedroom, so it is Jazmyn and your room left. We have always loved the former guest room so we didn't want to change it so we have been sleeping there since Friday night." Dan said and I just dropped my knife and fork as I sprinted to the wing opening the door.

As I came inside it was empty, everything was gone. Our wing was like a little apartment except there wasn't a kitchen here but it had a huge bedroom connected to an awesome walk in closet and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a shower. Then there is a living room and my own entry to the house. Dan and dad had a mini fridge in the living room before and it was still here. I had so many ideas for how I wanted to change it.

"So I bet you have many ideas that you would like to fulfill" I heard dad say from the door.

"I just can't believe it, I've always wanted this wing." I said and dad smiled nodding as Dan came up behind him.

"We know you wanted it, and when Jer and I started talking about adopting kids, we decided that when we get the adoption you would get this wing, since you turn 18 soon and you need more privacy" Dan said and I just threw myself at them hugging them tight saying thank you over and over again.

"This is your 18 birthday present Justin, you can do whatever you like in here, and we will pay for everything" Dad said and I just couldn't stop my smile.

"It is more than I could wish for thank you so much, gosh I love you guys" I said as I let go of them and I ran back to my former room starting to pack and moving all my stuff up in my new room. The bedroom I didn't want to change because I've always loved it.

After three hours all my stuff was in my new room and I just loved it. I took out my computer and started searching for living room stuff and to paint it and make it a bachelor pad.

After we were done I had shown Dan and dad what I wanted and we would go shopping tomorrow for all the rooms. Dad told me that Jaxon was obsessed with the Disney movie Cars so they had bought everything in his room even the bed as lightning McQueen. It looked awesome and for Jazmyn's room we are going to paint my old room pink and purple and put flowers in there because Jazmyn had told dad and Dan she wanted a nice girl room, but not to childish.

Jazmyn and Jaxon are siblings they were dropped off at the orphanage in a paper box when Jazmyn had turned two and Jaxon was just a couple of weeks old. There were no records of any parents only a note saying take care of them. So they have lived at the orphanage since and couples wanted to adopt them but they didn't want to leave, but dad said when they met them Jaxon took a liking to dad and Dan fast and so did Jazmyn.
 
They talked about a lot and out of nowhere Jazmyn had told Dan and dad she wanted a big brother that was a teenager that could protect her and Jaxon. Dad told them about me and Jaxon had said 'we want you guys to adopt us, not them' he said and had pointed to another family.

So soon enough the papers were done and I can't wait to meet them on Friday, and I can't wait to tell everyone at school tomorrow.
