Chapter 7

Jason's pov:

Lina dragged me away from Emory as soon as we came to her house. She pulled me in to her old room, threw me on the bed and locked the door.

"Spill it Dawson" she said with her hand on her hip.

"Spill what?" I asked and she gave me this look. 'Tell me or else'

"Fine, what did you see?" I said, giving in.

"You flirting with Justin" she said and I looked away. Had I made it that obvious?

"Is it that obvious?" I asked looking at her, biting my lip.

"No, but I know you and recognize that look you do when you like someone" she said sitting down beside me on the bed.

"I don't know what to do Lina, he is my student" I said pouting and she just pulled me to her and hugged me.

"I'm sorry Jase, but try to hold out until graduation, then ask him out." She said as I sighed and nodded.

"I'll try but it is hard Lina, I almost kissed him today" I said.

"Damn, fine if you can't wait until graduation, then wait a month, when he is over 18" she said as I nodded.

"Ok, I will" I said and she smiled at me.

"Good, so what happened with Mark?" She asked and I just snorted.

"He can go fuck himself, found him in bed with my mom" I said and Lina flew up from the bed.

"Oh I will kill them both" she said and I just laughed.

"Lina its fine, dad threw her out for the last time now, he even signed divorce papers and fired Mark, and they both got what they deserved" I said.

"Good, well me and Cally are over, she moved to Germany" she said and we both slumped down on the bed.

"You know what, let's party tonight" She said and I could go for a night out with my best friend.

"Where should we go?" I asked.

"Let's go to the planet" she said and was already looking for an outfit.

"I'm in" I said and she threw me some clothes I had here, it was a short sleeve shirt and a white wifebeater and some jeans to go with it.

40 minutes later we were done and we headed out. Lina had a sexy leopard print top with black pants and high heels. Her hair was up in a high ponytail making her long hair flow nicely.

"You ready to rock this city?" She asked me. I nodded and grabbed her hand and we headed out. As we got to the club everyone knew us already so we walked right in, no line for us. I went to find us a booth and Lina went and ordered some drinks.

I got a both pretty far back but it was ok, back here you could talk normally or as normal as you could in a club.

10 minutes later Selina shows up and she has a girl with her.

"Jason this is Cathy, she just moved here, Cathy this is Jason Dawson my best friend" she said as Cathy grabbed my hand.

"Nice to meet you mate" she said and I recognized that accent anywhere.

"You from Australia?" I asked.

"Yeah my sister and I moved here, well I just got here, but my sister has been here like four days or so" she said and I smiled.

"Welcome to LA" I said and we continued talking for a while. I saw Lina liked Cathy so I thought I could be a nice friend.

"Hey why don't you two go dance, I'll stay here and try to see if I can find someone" I said and they both smiled and got up and walked to the dance floor.
