Chapter 16

Jason's Pov:

"Am I on speaker?" I asked.

"Well yeah" Justin said a little unsure.

"Shit, Peter don't call him, I'll be at Justin's in five minutes" I said and hung up the phone and spurted down to my car. Lina and Cathy was leaning on the car waiting for me, but I don't have time right now.

"Jason Dawson you have some nerve walking away from me" Lina said.

"Lina I love you, I really do but I have to go right now, I'm not joking or anything and I promise I'll call you after, if Ruby doesn't find out first and tell you, but I really, really have to go" I said sternly and her whole expression softened.

"Ok now I'm worried, what's going on?" She asked.

"The short version, Peter Perry is my half-brother and his dad just died and I'm his legal guardian. I have to go now, I'll call you later I promise" I said and she just nodded as I jumped in the car and went way over the speed limit but two minutes later I was standing outside Justin's house.

I turned off my car and jumped out locking it and sprinted to the door. I rang the doorbell and not a second later Justin opened the door and I also see Ruby and Ryan there, just looking at my brother who is on his phone. Well Ruby is here so Cathy will get a call soon that's for sure.

"Hi baby" I said and pecked Justin's lips as greeting.

"Hey babe, what is wrong?" he asked and I smiled small before saying a quick hello to Ruby and Ryan.

"I told you I was right" Ruby said doing a little dance as Ryan gave her 50 bucks. I just raised my eyebrows looking at them and Ruby smirked but Justin spoke up before she could.

"They had a bet, that you would or wouldn't kiss me when you arrived here and Ryan lost" Justin said and I just looked at them crazy, before I walked over to Peter.

"Pete give me your phone" I said and he shook his head no.

"Is Peter and him close or is he fucking him too?" I heard Ryan whisper and I snapped.

"The only guy my dick is going near, is my boyfriend who is standing right there." I said pointing to Justin before I continued "Peter is my half-brother you idiot" I said in a harsh tone and Ryan went completely silent.

"Peter give me your phone, he's not going to answer" I turned towards Peter again and said.

I saw his eyes tear up and I just grabbed his phone and pulled him in to a tight hug as he clung to me and I felt my shoulder getting wet and his body was shaking as I held him.

"Babe what's happened?" Justin asked me.

"I'm Peter's legal guardian" I said and I heard gasps all around the room.

"Kenny is dead?" I heard Ryan say shocked. I just nodded and held Peter closer to me. He was sobbing his heart out and I understand him if it had been my dad, I would've been completely destroyed.

"It was his heart again wasn't it?" I heard Peter whisper and I nodded holding him tighter. Justin soon wrapped his arms around us because he knew how it felt to lose a parent.

"We are here for you Pete" he said and soon Ruby and Ryan was hugging us too.
"If you need us we are all here, always" Ryan said and Peter pulled away and looked up at me.

"Am I going to live with you now?" he asked and I nodded.

"Hey we are going to leave now, Peter if you need anything call us" Ryan said and he and Ruby left.
