In 10 June,the Italians invaded France near the alps mountain. In 22 June, the France government surrendered and signed an armistice with the German and Italians.Then, the germans planned to invade the Balkans in 1940,so they take action by forming an alliance called "The Axis" .
The Axis's members are:Germany,Italy,Japanese empire,Romania,Bulgaria,Hungary and much more till 1941. Back to the balkans, the Germans allied with the Hungarian first, then is the Transylvanian border dispute in Romania as Hungary asked for the region there for some reason, and Romania wanted to join the axis, so agrees to give the region to Hungary.
