Branch was helping Sunny look all over the place for this 'friend' of his but they were having no such luck. He was sure the other was lying for some unknown purpose but couldn't figure out why. Regardless, he was just glad the other wasn't pulling any more tricks.

"Look, I have an idea. If your friend is actually real. We should get a higher vantage point so you can spot him easier." Branch concluded since he was getting tired of this silly runaround. However, he had to admit, he was more relaxed.

"Oh, good idea!" Sunny agreed as he followed. The more he got to know him, the more he thought that the other was very intelligent. Probably as smart as Cross and as cautious as him. No, overly cautious. The King had protected him from getting bit by a bug at one point and the other acted as if he got bitten. It was cute in a way but that had him dying of laughter earlier.

Sunny huffed a few times as he tried to forget about it but it was just too funny.

"Are you still laughing about what happened?" Branch was embarrassed enough as is. He was just making sure the troll was okay. "I told you the bug was poisonous and you still laugh about it. See if that's the last time I save you from anything." He spoke in annoyance as they walked to the tree before climbing it.

Sunny just continued to chuckle, he was having so much fun throughout the day and now with the King that he almost forgot what he and Cross came here to do. That seemed to snap him back to reality and dampen his bubbly mood.

Branch looked down wondering what made the other so quiet all of a sudden but he didn't ask. They were busy scaling a tree anyway so the concentration was needed.

Once they climbed high enough, Branch led him out on a sturdy limb where they could overlook the ground below and watch the trolls walking around.

After a while, Branch glanced over when he let out an exaggerated sighed because Sunny was playing with the hair on his tail. "You're not even watching, what is the point in all of this? Why are you lying?"

"Hmm... I'm not exactly lying. I have no idea where my friend is but I wasn't that much in a hurry to find him. Besides, he is probably listening to rock music somewhere. That's the only time he disappears." Sunny shrugged, not really understanding why he was telling the King the truth.

"What? Ugh. You've been wasting my time." Branch wasn't too happy about that but this whole ordeal has taken his mind off some things. It was helpful in a way. He chuckled a bit at himself. "Thank you."

Sunny widened his eyes as he looked at the troll in bewilderment at what he just heard. "Wh- why are you thanking me??"

"I've been stressed lately and you've helped me calm down somewhat. Crazy, right?" Branch smiled as he looked at him.

Sunny just looked away as he felt something slowly bubble up inside, a feeling that he hadn't felt in an extremely long time, the very emotion he got rid of since his childhood.

Guilt.

Oh how he now regretted hanging out with the troll.

"Hey, are you okay? You don't look so good..." Branch was slightly worried.

"Uhh.... Oh!" Sunny awkwardly smiled as he pointed down to the ground while stuffing his tail back into his pants. "There he is. Guess I better get going!" He waved while jumping but not before whispering, "Thanks..."

"Ah... okay??" Branch was confused by the sudden goodbye. He watched the strange troll float to the ground using his hair and meeting up with another who looked angry and yelling at him. The only thing Branch could think of at that moment was, 'He looks nothing like me.' He laughed because he really was played by him.
