You: Alright. Hey Hide, I won't be able to see you like promised.
Hide: Oh. Alright, We can rearrange.
You: Alright. I'll be away for awhile, but I'll let ya know.
Hide: No problem.
I check my apartment, noticing that everything is all perfect. "I'll be back soon." I state already walking out the door, and locking it behind me. I walk down into town, and head to the nearest alley, and there he is Ayato. His blue hair striking, and his blue eyes very striking. "Why have you called me for?" I question, checking my nails. "We need you one more time." He states, his irritance already tangible. "You know I can't say no. Why do you need me though?" He walks closer to me, the night already in full swing. "Yamori has been killed. He tortured the wrong person, and now we need an extra hand." Ayato states, getting straight to the point. "Ughh, fine, but just this once Ayato. You promised to leave me alone. Rize is already gone, and now Yamori too." I state getting irriated. "If you want me at full power, i'm going to need to eat, since I have not been eating much to keep the power you so crave." I carry on, walking with him.
We finally reach the headquarters for Aogiri Tree, and there a white haired male is waiting for us. "This is Kaneki. You'll be working with me and him for this next one." Ayato greets, I roll my eyes, and bow my head ever so slightly. "Nice to meet you kaneki. I'm L/n, or you can call me the 8 tails." I state, he nods his head, saying nothing. lovely, he better not be mute.
"we know some memebers of the CCG are going to be active in the 20th ward soon, so we will be checking constantly and then intercepting them." Ayato states. I look to Kaneki. "Okay, and will I be allowed to nourish myself to regain my power, or will I be doing that in my spare time?" I question, Ayato looks at me confused. "What?" he shouts. I sigh, turning to him, sometimes I wish I could just eat him. "I told you before I agreed, I'm not at the same power level idiot. so unless you allow me to take a bit of you everyday, then I won't have the power." I state, as if it was obvious. "Spar with me. I'll check." He states, walking to where the areana I believe is. I follow silently, Kaneki following us.
"Alright." I take off my coat, grabbing a small knife from the rack, and walking onto the stage. I face him, he's getting ready, when he launches himself at me. I block him easy, he jumps back, my kagune coming out, my eye changing.
Ayato flinches a little bit, when I throw the knife, he avoids it easily, but two of my tails go in the opposite direction, which graze his arm and leg ever so silently "You seem pretty good." Ayato brings out his kagune now too. I won't be able to face that, I don't have the skills in hand to hand that he does, and with his kagune it's doubled. mine doesn't have the power behind.

He sends a warning signal, sending bits of his kagune at me, and my kagune doesn't sheild enough, even when it's covering me. A few graze my arms and legs, yet I quickly launch two of the tails, the other 4 trying to sheild me. He avoids it easily, and then stops. "I see. I get you. You can't even deflect them properly. That will be an issue." He thinks to himself, yet I still have my kagune defending me, the bleeding yet to fully stop.
"She's a one eyed ghoul too?" Kaneki states, his voice fairly shocked. "Oh yes, did I forget to mention that." Ayato chimes, and I sigh rolling my eyes. "You always get straight to the point Ayato, so yes." Kaneki shouts back to him. I hide my laughter.
"We'll stop, I assume you haven't properly healed." Ayato says, his voice a tad concerned. "We'll sort you with meals, no need to worry." Ayato says walking to his room. "Thanks." I state slightly irritated.

it's been 2 days, and we've now started checking out the 20th ward. I've been paired with Kaneki, and Ayato has gone off on his own. I manage to get a meal every time we go out, and my strength has come back, but I've also been learning hand to hand combat just in case. I've gotten pretty good at it, and sometimes I forget I even have a kagune to rely on.
"Hey Eyepatch, you watch that direction and i'll watch this one" I whisper. He nods his head, turning to look in the opposite direction. "So, how come you're only a one-eyed ghoul, and not a full ghoul like the others?" Kaneki whispers to me, his voice curious and questioning, yet I keep watch, as I reply "Well, my father was a ghoul, and my mother a human. They put their differences aside, and became a family, that is until I was born. My father couldn't deal with a halfbreed ghoul, so he ate my mother and ran. Apparently killing me was too much, so here I am." I can't tell his expression, or what he seems to be thinking, but something between us changes. "What- What happened to your father?" he asks, his voice softer, his words more thought out.
"I ate him. I killed him, slowly, and then ate him, which gained me massive power, but now since i've learned to stop eating so many humans, and ghouls alike, my power is not what it used to be." I say, my voice becomes almost inaudiable, as I hear footstops approaching. We watch carefully when we see a human, yet next to her is a ghoul. He leads her on, until he cuts her, his ukaku in full view. I jump down quitely behind him, he has no time to notice, when I slice him fully. "Kaneki, run. CCG may appear, and we will need a better hiding spot now thanks to this nitwit." I state, Kaneki nods, already on the move. As for me, I stay and eat awhile, regaining the power I had lost.
"Ayato. Come in?" I state over the intercom, connected to each of our ears. "What's up? Found anything?" He asks. "No. Someone Ghoul is leading them right to us though, idiot killed and ate them right in front of us. I ate him, so we have no trances, me and Kaneki are finding another hiding spot now." I state, already moving to the second location nearby. "Good." Ayato chimes.
