It's been a week since I found out that I was pregnant. It's still shocking but I got my mind around it. I've noticed a little pudge on my belly. I've been gaining wait fast but I've been eating healthy. I haven't left the house because I've been lazy and I've letting the news sink in.

Today I've decided to go baby shopping, well at least look at things and see prices and stuff. I'm actually excited to shop for the first time since forever. Now that I'm going to be gaining weight I would need to buy clothes. But would I buy lady maternity clothes or just bigger guy clothes.

Anyway I make my way to the kitchen and I pass by the hallway and I see a big picture of Sean and I. It was on our senior trip to Costa Rica. It was a really fun 2 weeks. I open the fridge and I look down at my belly. "What would you like to eat little munchkin" I say rubbing my little pudge.

I made myself some French toast with a bowel of mixed fruit consisting of watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes and etc. Before eating I took my prenatal vitamins giving to me the day I left the hospital. After eating my food I washed the dishes and did some cleaning around. I took a quick shower taking my sweet time.

I changed and I had on a police department t shirt with my name on it and some cargo shorts. I put on some Nike running shoes. I grabbed my phone and keys and left. I arrived at the shopping center where the mall, Dillard's, Macy's and jcpenny's and some restaurants like longhorn steak house.

I arrive and parked my car. I walk inside and there's tons of people. I'm not much of a people person because I'm shy. I first walk to BabyRUs and looked at cute baby clothes. I saw this onesie and it said "my daddy is a soldier". It was cute and camouflage

It was fun seeing all the clothes but I did not buy some because I didn't know the gender since I'm still small in my pregnancy. But I decided to buy some that are neutral color like yellows and light colors. I did see this crib that was a dark wood color and it was the one that you could turn into a toddler bed and so on.

I'm really excited to see my baby. I can't really contact Sean and tell him and he promised he will video chat call me when he could. I'm still waiting for the call. I go to the food court and buy a healthy fruit smoothie. If you haven't noticed I'm a health freak.

There was no line and I was about to order when this girl pushes me slightly and gets in front of me. I was shocked she had the decency to cut in front of me. Then I see a heavily tattooed woman wrap her arm around the lady in front of me. "Sorry lad, but my girlfriend is pregnant and is not keen of waiting" she says with an accent. She's Australian and I kind of fan girl because I have this thing for Australians since Sean is Australian.

The tattooed woman was beautiful but she's obviously lesbian. "No problem, I was craving too since I'm pregnant" she looked surprised and nodded. "I'm Stella McAddle and my lovely fiancé is Wendy Shaws" we shake hands as I introduce myself.

"I'm Sage Michaels and my lovely fiancé is in the armed forces so he isn't with me" "well does he know about you being pregnant" "no because he said he would contact me through video chat and he hasn't called" I say as tears brimmed my eyes. She hugs me and allows me to cry on her shoulder. I sobbed silently until I stopped. I didn't noticed she moved us to a secluded table.

I give her an embarrassed look. "Sorry, i just needed a shoulder to cry on" she shakes her head "don't worry about it"

After a while we exchanged numbers and got to know them better. Both Stella and Wendy are from Melbourne Australia and that they are having a baby because of sperm donation banks. They actually met the guy by accident at a store and he's cool with it. She showed me a pic of him and he's quite handsome, but not as handsome as Sean.

They invited me to their baby shower that was planned by Wendy's family. I was actually happy so I can see and what to expect if I ever have one. It's next week and I'm pretty excited.

I forgave my mother because well she's my mom and I love her and I know she thought she was doing a good thing about keeping it a secret. But today the family is having a "family bbq" well we actually have bbq every other day. My dad makes some bomb ass bbq.

Anyway I had asked my mother if she needed anything and she said they needed more buns and drinks and of course beer. I wish I could drink a cold beer but I will not. I want my baby to be healthy. So I got my keys and drove to the nearest convenience store. After buying a 24 pack of beer and the buns, I made my way back to the bbq dinner.

Let me just tell you I had a blast. I ate so much chicken, and some ribs, and sausages and etc. I was full after like 3 plates. Anyway, we did karaoke and it was funny because we all had terrible voices.

I had way to much sugary drinks since I didn't want to drink alcohol. Mom let me spent the night because I knew my sugary high would end soon.

I entered my room from my childhood and it still looked the same but I didn't have any pictures or my trophies. I only had a drawer full of clothes just in case if I stayed. I remove my shorts and shirt and stayed in my boxers.

I lay down on the bed and covered myself. I rub my belly and whisper to myself. "Sean, I hope you're back before our baby is born". I close my eyes and dreamt about my baby.
