Sage's POV

It's been a month since Halloween has passed. Thanksgiving was amazing because for once I was able to spend it with my little family. Now it's December and I'm so excited. I have a special surprise for Sean. I'm going to be 2 months pregnant so 8 weeks on December 21. It was a surprise and it was not planned. I wanted to get pregnant again when we get married but this baby wanted to be here. I still haven't told Sean but I will on Christmas.

I'm at work, well I'm at lunch. I had gone to a residence call. Some couple was arguing and their elderly neighbor was concerned so she called the cops. The lady from the arguing couple was savage af. She kept hitting her husband even after I tried stopping her. I know soon I will be on desk work again because I can't be chasing after criminals with a big pregnant belly.

As soon as I got in my car, I got a call through the radio. There was a big car crash involving 2 adults. I immediately responded I was on my way. As soon as I get there, I can't believe my eyes. They had hit a tree when they ran off the road. I hurry and I see the paramedics and the firefighters trying to get the people out.

They got out 2 men and they didn't look that bad. They had bunch of cuts on their faces but I don't think anything is wrong.

One of the guys is crying saying is his baby and husband okay. I approach him and he sees me as starts crying harder. I let the paramedics take the couple away in the ambulances while I wait for more cops to show up.

I see my buddy Jacob approach me. He just stares at the scene and shakes his head. "Are they okay?" "Idk man, they seemed okay but I'm not to sure" "do you know what happened?" "No but I believe they ran off the road and crash as you can see, but is it okay if you stay here while I go and follow the ambulances and do the report" I ask him. He nods yes and I leave to the hospital.

I arrive and I asked for the couple who came in but said I had to wait. I waited until I heard a lady crying and asking about her sons. I figured those were the parents of the guys in the crash. I reached and introduced myself. When the mom turned around, I was shocked. She looked exactly like my dad. Like if they were twins. "You look just like my dad" I say and she looks at me weird, so does her husband. I take out my phone and show them a picture. They both gasp and she starts to cry.

"Can you please call him" she says through a sob and I nod. I text dad and told him to come to the hospital because there was something important to show him. 15 min later dad comes in and asks what happen. I bring him to the crying woman and they both turn to each other and gasp. It's like looking at a mirror. It's crazy how dad and her look so much alike.

"Stephanie?" Dad says and she shakes her head no. "Its Christina now" she says with a sniffle. They hug each other and she starts sobbing on my dad's chest. Dad shut his eyes tight and hugged his long lost sister.
