Today is 12 week ultrasound appointment. I can't believe I'm going to see my baby again. To see how big she or he has gotten. I Know I'm only 3 months along but I do look a bit bigger than 3 months. Like I've seen pictures and actual woman who are 3 months along but I'm bigger. It's probably because it's a male pregnancy.

I'm not entirely hungry but I'm so thirsty lately. I know I can't exactly pee because I need a full bladder to see the baby. Gosh I'm so nervous. Is it weird that I'm nervous. I still can't believe I'm pregnant, pregnant with Sean's baby.

Anyway I'm getting dressed when I remember I had bought a new camera. I want to record all my ultrasound appointments so when Sean gets back he can see what he missed. God I really miss my Sean, I feel so alone without him but I got this baby. I grab the camera from the Best Buy bag. It's a Canon PowerShot G7x. I love it, but it was pricey. I might just create a YouTube channel and upload all of my videos.

Yea I don't want people to know I'm pregnant but I'm going to be showing more so might as well make it public for the whole world, but especially Sean.

"Okay Sage, let's look at this baby of yours" Dr Torres said as she move the Doppler on my gel covered belly. "There's your baby, strong heartbeat" she says and I nod with a smile as I hear the sound.

"Okay Sage, your baby is strong and healthy. I do want to do a few test. Just to be sure and do some genetic testing. Male pregnancies do have a higher change of giving birth to babies with disabilities so I want to make sure your baby is strong. In the ultrasound, everything looks good but I just want to make sure" she say and I nod. God, I hope my baby is healthy.

I wipe the gel off and put my shirt down. "Okay I want you to come back in a week and we will take blood and within that week we will receive your results" she said as she gave me my ultrasound scans.

I went out to eat at a vegan restaurant near the hospital. God the food there is amazing. I sigh as I pass by a table with a couple who are so deeply in love. The guy rubs his girl belly. It was small but you could totally see she's pregnant. I wish Sean was here.

I arrive home and got in front of my curtain. I have a small computer table in my living room next my window, so it will give natural light when I blog.
I set up the camera on the tripod I also bought and pressed record.

"Hey Sean, so since you've been gone I've been wallowing in self pity because you have left. But you left me a little surprise. I'm pregnant!! I know it must be shocking to you too but it's true. Mom never told me about it but I just recently found out too. I'm currently 3 months along and I'm freaking huge. I miss you so much my love. I'm happy that I have this piece of you. This baby is making your departure a bit easier. Today I went to my appointment and I found out our baby is still healthy. The doc ordered a genetic test to be done. He said nothing is wrong with our babe but he wants to make sure. He says babies born from males have a higher chance of getting disabilities. I pray that when the results come back they are positive. I'm getting the test done next week so yeah. God babe I miss you! Come home soon my love"

I turn of the camera and took a deep breathe. I removed the SIM card and uploaded the video to Final Cut Pro. I saved the video to a flash drive and uploaded the video to YouTube. God I'm so nervous about what people are going to say.

I get up and make my way to the bedroom and change into sweats and a muscle t shirt. I look in the mirror and rub my belly. "Oh baby, I wish you look like your handsome daddy." I say as i stand in the mirror a few seconds more. I make my way to the bed and lay down.

I turn on the tv to Netflix and start watching Last man standing. God Tim Allen is so funny!

Before I know it, I start drifting to sleep.

I'm woken up by my phone singing its usual iPhone ringtone. I see it's my favorite cousin Alex.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sage!! It's been forever since I've called you but I got good ass news bitch"

"What is it?"

"I'm getting MARRIED!!"

"Oh goodness, I'm so happy for you" I say with happiness in my tone. I'm truly happy for her. She has had bad boyfriends in the past but Andrew is a sweetheart and treats her like a princess.

"I know and I want to let you know that I'm getting married in 2 weeks. Yes I know it's late notice but we are doing this quick because Andrew is getting transferred to a new hospital and we want to get married before we move"

"Well expect me there homegirl! So how you been"

"Good! But we have been trying for a baby and it hasn't happened yet but I know it will. So how Sean?"

"Well I hope he's good, he's been gone for 3 months now"

"Aww babe how you holding up? Has he contacted you yet?"

"No but I hope he comes home to visit but at the same time I wish we doesn't because I think I will not let him go" I say as lips quivers at the end and I feel a heavy knot in my throat.

"Aww honey, don't worry, I'm sure your man will come back safe and sound"

"Thanks I need to hear that because I feel so lonely. It sucks you live 6 hours away."

"I know but we are moving to a city near yours so we won't be so far from each other"

"Oh thank god! I don't think I would last any longer if you were t near me.

"Don't worry Sage, I'll be here for you. Well I got to go but I'll call you and can't wait to see you in 2 weeks"

"Okay take care, bye I love you"

"Bye love you too"
