The door bell rang and I ran towards the front door, expecting Keith to be on the other side. Instead, I found Hendrix with his hands shoved in his cargo pockets.

"Cassie! What's the occasion? Why're you dressed up?" Well I'm not really 'deessed' up but I'm just wearing descent clothes because Keith's parents are a little strict and I don't wanna be judged by wearing jeans and a regular top.

Hendrix stepped in the house and brushed his lips against my cheek, shutting the door close behind him. My heart thumped faster and my head blanked out. Dammit! It's so intoxicating.

"Ahem," Collin cleared his throat and that made him pull away.

"Bro, wassup!" They gave each other a bro hug and I have no single clue to why Hendrix is here. Before, he rarely came over to my house and now it's like he lives here.

The doorbell rang again and I opened the door for Keith who was wearing ripped jeans and a polo shirt, I might've been over dressed.

"Hey Cass," Keith gave my cheek a peck and smiled at me. The conversation that was happening behind us stopped and there was awkward silence.

"What the hell is that dumb fuck doing in your house?" Hendrix spat and I pursed my lips, looking at Keith apologetically. Gosh, what a colorful vocabulary he had there.

"I'm going out," I addressed Collin but before my brother could speak, Hendrix cut in.

"What?! Going out with who?" He asked in disbelief. I smirked to myself and flipped my hair over.

"I'm going out with Keith," I repeated.

"Whoa! Why?! We haven't approved of him yet Cassie," he said, I gave him a slight shrug and walked to the driveway where Keith's BMW was parked. Hendrix called out after me but I just ignored him.

"He seems to care about you a lot," Keith said, opening the door for me.

"Thanks, and yeah I think so?" He shut the door and jogged over to his side.

"I'm just happy you agreed to go with me," he grabbed my hand and kissed it. My cheeks heat up and I smiled widely. See, he's not that bad.

"So where are you taking me?" I asked.

"Someplace," Keith smirked before driving off my property.

My focus was outside the window while he was driving and talking about his parents and such. It's not that I don't care, it's just I'm thinking about someone right now and it ain't him.

"Sorry if I'm boring you Cass," Keith parked his car near the ocean and I quirk a brow.

"We're eating at the beach?" I asked and he just grinned. So we are eating at the beach. "Oh! And no! My head is just someplace else, sorry too," I added.

I opened my door when he came out and stood on the gravel of the parking. At least I don't get to meet his parents. The sun was already setting and it made this nice ombré setting in the sky which was kinda romantic.

Keith grabbed my hand and laced it with his as he led me someplace in the beach. I wasn't surprise by it because he seems sweet and nice, in my opinion of course. But based on Hendrix's point of view, he's annoying and ruthless.

I saw a decorated gazebo in the middle of the beach on the sand and I raised my brow. And no person was here, it was empty and quiet except for the waves crashing through the shore.

Keith pulled out my chair and let me seat on it before tucking it back in. I don't doubt he's a gentleman because they were supposed to do this since they were born.
