Crimson Academy

I drive through the luscious forests as the birds hum a high tone. I always feel a sense of peace in the forest, as if there's nobody to bother me.

       The peace and quiet comes to an end when I arrive at Crimson Academy. Nothing but earsplitting volume. It has a horrible smell too, hasn't anybody heard of deodorant?

       I quickly meet up with Maddy. Thank god she showed up or I would've been doomed.

"Hey! Aren't you excited? We get to hunt for the first time today!" She said in a joyous tone. Opposites attract I guess.

      "I guess so! I'm a little nervous about meeting the new people but other than that, I am pretty excited!" I mutter in an anxious tone. Maddy's the only one I've talked to since I was younger.

       "Shush, they're announcing the teams!" She whispers excitedly.

       I don't listen until my name is heard. "The members of Team 3 are; Ambrose, Nicole," Oh no. "Maddy, Stephanie." I don't know who Stephanie is which is worse enough, let alone being paired with Nicole. "You will be be put into dorm number A114".

       Crimson is really big so it might be an issue finding our classes. "I expect you all to be in your rooms by one o'clock sharp." I check my phone and it's 12:48. That should be around enough time to find  our dorm.

       The dorms are quite easy to find, thanks to the signs around the corridors. We travel as a group, it feels awkward between me and Nicole since Stephanie and Maddy are the only ones talking. She's beautiful. Her beautiful brown hair and dark brown eyes, her tan skin, her sense of style, everything.

      We ended up at the dorm at around 12:57, Just in time. There were two rooms with names on the door. 'Nicole and Ambrose' The next one said 'Stephanie and Madi'. They spelt Maddy wrong, but that's okay. 

      "Let's get ourselves comfortable!" Nicole states. We go to our rooms and unpack our bags. Mine is full of room decorations and self-care stuff. It's kinda awkward since me and Nicole aren't talking, so it's complete silence.

       We shoot a few glances at eachother. She strikes up the conversation by saying "What made you come here?". She said in a serious tone. "Oh, we-well I've always wanted to be a bounty hunter ever since I was little." You could hear the anxiety in my voice. "Cool." she said almost in a sarcastic way.

A/N, This was so fun to write!! This time I'm not writing at 3AM or anything. It's actually 12 PM for me right now. Last chapter was bad so I might edit it a little, anyways 450+ words wow
