the cool summer breeze hit you while you matt and his brothers were at the beach sitting. everything was at peace and you felt home whenever summer felt like this, you always missed these days.
matt stood up and dragged you to the ocean and pushed you into the water and he got on top of you, splashing the water everywhere while ocean waves could be heard nearby.
you and matt started to play fight and swim and nearly got drowned by a giant wave,
"woah- AHHH" matt screamed like a little girl, being cut off by getting pulled from the wave, going underwater.
you giggled and felt matt grab onto your waist, and he giggled into your neck.
you guys walked back to the shore and got water and ate some snacks.

after we packed everything in the car from the beach, we hit the road.
we were on our way to this ice cream shop i've never heard of, but i was in the mood for ice cream.
we arrived and i ordered a sundae and matt ordered a banana split.
we happily ate our ice cream while chattering.
i looked out the window, grateful for this moment. i loved summer days like these, ever since i was a kid.
after we got done eating our ice cream, we went back to our beach house to unwind from the day and relax. by this time, it was 7 so i was getting pretty tired.
matt laid on the couch next to me, watching tv. shortly after, he falls asleep on top of you.
you felt so special and surrounded with love.
you fell asleep not even 10 minutes later.
