"Cassie, it's me. I think I need to explain a few things. You were never supposed to go to the Pizzaplex. That thing in the sinkhole tricked you. I really don't know what it is, but it's been trapped down here a really long time. That M.X.E.S security program was designed to keep it hidden, but you shut down the security. Now it's free. It's not your fault. I know you did it for me. To save me... just make sure you're not follo-" suddenly, the connection begins to glitch.
Gregory's heart sinks. "Cassie! Hello! Can you hear me!" He shouts.
The sound of static floods the speaker until he faintly hears the cries of the girl.
"Gregory? Nooo!" Cassie screams, followed by the trembling of a falling elevator.
"CASSIE! CASSIE!!!" He panics. She's trapped down there with that mysterious, dangerous creature. Gregory immediately rushes towards Vanessa and Freddy, knowing what has to be done to save her.
Later...
All three of them are running straight for Roxy Raceway. "Now Gregory, although we must hurry to help Cassie, we should also try our best to stay safe. Fazbear Entertainment was known for many things, but safety sure as hell wasn't one of them," Vanessa says.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say," Gregory replies, almost out of breath. In all honesty, Gregory couldn't care less about his safety right now. All he has on his mind is Cassie.
Even though it's been a bit since they've last seen each other, Cassie was still his best friend. Also, she's his only friend he has around his age. There's just something about her that makes Gregory feel kinda warm and fuzzy inside. He needs to save her, and once he does, they can finally be back in each other's lives just like before.
As they're going, they glance around, observing the ruined remains of the PizzaPlex. What was once a symbol of capitalism and corruption, yet beauty and atmosphere, has now been left to rot. A bit of Fazbear Entertainment's selfish greed projected onto broken cart-rides and dust.
Running closer and closer to Roxy Raceway, Gregory turns a corner only to bump into the back of a tall, ruined robot. He stumbles back and falls onto the ground. "What the- Chica?!" Gregory says.
Chica, now half-shattered and covered in trash, attacks Gregory by grabbing his shirt.
"Ahhh!" Gregory struggles as the rusty robot tries picking him up. Suddenly, Vanessa and Freddy grab Chica's back and pull her down.
"Oh my... their conditions are worse than I could've imagined. I'm sorry Chica, you've been abandoned by them, left to decompose here," Freddy says. Chica lies on the floor still active, but unable to get up.
Gregory quickly gets back up. "C- Come on! We're almost there!" He shouts.
Soon after, the three of them make it to Roxy Raceway, where they hastily go down into the sinkhole.
