"I- I don't exactly have a... home. I was sleeping inside a box in an alley for years. I've never had a home, or a family for that matter." Gregory stares down at the grass.
"My god- Gregory! Have you been living like that your entire life?!" Vanessa stands in shock.
"For as long as I can remember. Well, that was until I snuck into the PizzaPlex," Gregory adds. "Then I stayed hidden there until... well..."
"Gregory, I'm... so sorry. That is NOT an acceptable living condition for a child! Where were your parents?" Glamrock Freddy asks.
"I... I don't know. In fact, I never knew who they were, let alone if they're even alive," Gregory begins to tear up.
"Was there anyone there who you knew or could help you out at the time?" Vanessa asks.
Gregory wipes his eyes, "Well *sniff* I wasn't always alone. I did have one friend who would go to the PizzaPlex a lot. Her name was Cassie. She was cool, a- and she was always good at brightening my mood."
Vanessa looks to the distance. Gregory had such a hard life up until now, and weirdly enough, she can't seem to remember much of her own past. All she knows right now, is that she has Gregory to thank for freeing her from Glitchtrap's control.
Vanessa looks towards Gregory. "You won't have to live like that any longer. Starting now, we can be a family, and move on from this craziness together." she looks at Freddy, "all three of us."
Gregory's face brightens up, "r- really?! Do you really mean it?!"
"I promise," She says.
"Aww, you two are so sweet!" Freddy states. "Unfortunately, I don't know how much help I could be considering I'm only a head now."
Vanessa looks down. The rest of Freddy's body was dismembered by staff bots back whenever Vanny was in control. Although she had no control of herself back then, she still feels guilty for Freddy's current condition.
"Don't worry about that, Freddy. I'm sure we'll find a solution somehow. And if not, it's not that big of a deal," she tells him.
"Yea! Body or not, you're still my best friend!" Gregory rolls over and hugs the dismembered head.
"Thank you, Superstar," he says. "I'll make sure to take good care of you two." Wait, permanently leaving the Pizzaplex like this goes against all of my code, so then why do I still do it? He asks himself. No matter, just some way I know that this is the right choice. Somehow I can feel it inside of me. I must ensure Gregory's safety.
The three of them look off into the distance as a comforting silence lingers through. While sitting on top of the grassy hill, they admire the beautiful sunrise as a new beginning starts for each and every one of them.
