TWO WEEKS LATER:

So it has been a couple of weeks since I told Alex about my little gummy bear growing inside me and today I'm going to see him or her at the doctor today. I'm so excited! And get this- I have such an adorable baby bump that it sticks out in my tight shirts and I can't wear anymore crop tops. Ah, oh well.

"Marissa Smithfield. The doctor will see you now." Me, Desire, and my mom all went to the backroom.

"You can just lay back and pull your shirt up while I get the ultrasound stuff ready." The nurse said.

"Okay thank you." I lifted my cotton purple shirt to the end of my chest.

She came back with a doctor."Hello Marissa. I am Dr. Careen and this gel that going to go on your stomach is very cold. So beware."

"Holy moly thats cold!" I shrieked.

"Okay there is your...hold on wait." She looked closer.

"Is there something wrong doctor?!" Desire asked worried.

"No it's just that there are two bodies in there. You're having Twins!"

"Omigoodness! Do you know what they are yet?"

"Nope you have to wait until you're four months. You're only one." She said excitedly.

"Oh okay. When is my due date and my next appointment?" I asked Dr. Careen.

"Your due date will be July 21st or close around there because twins are never really born on their actual due date. Next appointment will be in three weeks on Thursday 4:30. Is that okay Mrs. Smithfield?"

"Yes that is perfect. Although Mark or Max might have to take you because I have a business trip that week."

"Okay. Desire can't you take me or do you have plans that day?" I asked her.

"No I don't think I do so I can take you. We will be here." She announced to Dr. Careen.

"Perfect! Now keep taking those prenatal vitamins every morning and eat healthier now that you are having twins. Till next time, bye guys!" She said happily and left the room.

"Am I the only one who thinks that lady was super hyper?" Desire asked while giggling.

"Nope I thought so too." My mom agreed.

We left the clinic and went home. Desire went to her house and I went to the kitchen to get me some chocolate chip cookies and strawberry ice cream. It was a craving that tasted delicious.

There was knock on the door so I went over to open it. Seeing how I was the only one in the because my mom left soon after Desire did to go to work while Max and Mark were at a friends house. So who could that be?

I opened the door and there stood in all his glory, was Alex Sanders. Sweating and bulging muscles.

"What the hell do you want?! You clearly don't want me or our baby so get the hell away from my door!" I yelled.

"No. I want to be apart of my child's life. Can I please do that?" He said back.

Wtf!  This guy was going to give me a migraine.

Alex's POV:

I knocked on Marissa's door and waited until someone opened it. I didn't mean what I said to Marissa about not wanting to be in our baby's life. I was stressed out because I'd just caught my now ex-girlfriend cheating on me with my so called best friend Derrick. The dipshit was a liar! So here I was at Marissa's door to talk to her after running seven blocks from my house to hers I was fucking tired.

The door swung open and there stood Marissa. She looked really cute. She had on some colorful tribal leggings and a purple cotton t-shirt. Nope nevermind, she looked smoking hot especially with the cute baby bump that she has.

"What the hell do you want?! You clearly don't want me or your baby so get the hell away from my door!" She yelled after checking me out.

"No. I want to be apart of my child's life. Can I please do that?" I pleaded.

She looked at me and then told me to come in the house. I let out a sigh of relief. Part one, done. We sat down on the couch but not side by side. I just wanted to hug her and talk to her and to let her know that I'm in love with her.

"So you want to be apart of our babies live? Prove it to me." She said.

Wait did she just say babies and lives??

"Are you having twins?"

"Yes I am. Have you changed your mind yet?" She said sounding stressed out and I wasn't leaving this time.

"I still want to be apart of their lives and in all honesty I'm sorry for what I said to you two weeks ago. I didn't mean what I said to you. I was just pissed off because I'd just caught my girlfriend cheating on me with my best friend Derrick. I truly am sorry."

"How do I know that right when I'll need you the most you won't bail on me? Alex this is a lifetime thing and it's worry twins so you've got double the trouble. This is an outing right now so you better take it because if your ass leaves me at the time needed most I will never forgive you or myself because I believed that you would actually care about me." She stayed crying.

I went over to her and huffed and kissed her hair. "I'm never ever leaving you Riss."

"WHY?! Who would want a girl that's just going to get all fat and flubbery?" She cried out.

"I do. Marissa I'm in love with you. I've been in love with you since the day we met at your house and me and your brothers became friends. I want to be there for you and our babies. Will you let me? Please?"

"She nodded and hugged me. "I love you too." She said.

I was the happiest damn man on the planet.
