"So, how have you been?" Danielle asked Taraji as they sat for lunch.

"I've been okay, missing you guys like crazy. How have you been?" Taraji answered, scanning the menu.

"Not bad, still a little shocked about all of this movie buzz. It's so surreal, you know?"

"I know boo, but you definitely deserve it all, if not more."
"Thank you Raji."

The conversation died down, as they ordered their food. Danielle noticed the awkwardness between Taraji and Fantasia, but she didn't want to say anything.

Hell, what's the worst that can happen?

"So, you and Tasia, what's up with that?"

"What do you mean?" Taraji asked, acting confused.

"I mean, you guys went from being the best of friends, to barely looking at each other whenever y'all are in the same room. Now, I know that doesn't just happen out of the blue, so fess up." Danielle smirked, sipping her drink. She was going to get to the bottom of this.

"Nothing happened, we just drifted apart." Taraji looked down, her eyes starting to sting with tears.

"Do you really think I believe that? I know you guys much better than that, so you might as well just tell me the truth. Whatever it is, I can handle it."

"Okay, you want the truth." Taraji sat her drink down and scooted forward in her seat, "we are in love with each other, but she won't leave her little husband. She played with my feelings for weeks, just to choose that moron over me. So, therefore, we aren't on speaking terms. And we probably never will be."

Danielle, who was now speechless, sat with her mouth open. Her jaw damn near reaching the floor.

"I knew it, I just didn't know it was this deep." She chuckled.

"What do you mean, you knew it?"

"The way you guys acted in interviews, couldn't keep ya hands to yourselves, and what really topped it off for me was when we did an interview together and Tasia leaned for a kiss. Man, her whole demeanor changed after that, like she wanted to strip you right then and there."

"Dani!" Taraji's mouth flew open.

"What, I'm just saying." Danielle shrugged her shoulders, sipping her drink.

"Was it really that obvious?"

"Yes, very. And let me just say, she really misses you Raji."

"I'm sure she does. I'd be a liar if I sat here and said I didn't miss her too, but she hurt me Dani. That's not something I'm just going to sweep under the rug."

"I totally get that, but I think you should at least just hear her out. Please. We have a sisterhood, and I want to keep it. If that means me third wheeling every time we hangout, so be it. But I'm not losing my girls over this, alright?"

"Okay, fine. You better be glad I love you." Taraji sighed, a small smile on her face.

A few weeks had gone by, and Taraji had finally built up the courage to just go to Fantasia's house. She was going to simply call her, but that wouldn't have been enough. They needed to have a face to face conversation.

Taraji nervously knocked on the door, praying Tasia's husband wasn't home.

"Raji." Fantasia spoke surprised.

"Hey, umm. Can we talk?"

"Yea, of course. Come in."

Taraji stepped into the house, and instantly felt the sadness in the room.

Usually when she came to Fantasia's house, it was welcoming, and good vibes would flow through the air. But today, something was off. Clothes were everywhere, empty wine bottles filled the kitchen table.

"Sorry about the mess, If I'd known-."

"It's okay babe, no need to explain yourself to me. You know that." Taraji gave a warm smile, before sitting on the couch.

Fantasia returned the smile, before speaking again. "Can I get you anything?"

"No, I'm good. Thank you though."

Fantasia nodded, sitting on the couch as well but keeping a decent space between them.

"I've been putting this off for the last few weeks, and I'm surprised I even came by honestly. But, I genuinely did want to talk to you and get some type of closure with all of this."
"I agree. I've been thinking about this for a while now too, and I have something I need to say." Fantasia sighed deeply before talking again, "the day we started shooting I felt deeply connected with you, it honestly hurt. And as the day went on, my love for you only grew. It was so much more than just a friendship. I love you Taraji, more than a sister, but as a lover. I know that I 've hurt you in the past and I am so sorry for that. Just, please. Let me make it up to you now.

Taraji felt her face hot, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her heart was so full hearing Fantasia say that, but there was one problem. Her husband.

"Fantasia, you're married. It's not as easy as it sounds. I don't need to be known as a homewrecker, and I also don't want you to be cheating on your husband with me. That's not right."

"He's gone. Okay, there is no more him." Fantasia lied, but she had to. She was not about to lose the love of her life again.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Taraji's eyes shifted to her hand, and shockingly her wedding ring was gone.

"I mean that I only want you." Fantasia scooted closer to Taraji, letting their lips connect.

She was glad she took her ring off earlier.

The kiss was deep and full of love. Love that had been held in for months.

Their tongues explored each other's mouths, and all was heard in the room, was their soft moans.

"You have no idea how long I've been wanting this." Taraji moaned against her lips, her hands gripping Fantasia's face.

"Almost as much as I have." Fantasia responded, smiling against her lips.

Fantasia never wanted this moment to end

But more importantly,

What the hell was she going to do with her husband?
