Chapter 36

Charlotte's POV

Ava and Bruno have been going strong for the past week, meaning they have been together non-stop. Ava is either at our house with Bruno or Bruno is at her house. I think he has seen her more than I have which needs to change. Her sister dropped her off at our house once so she could have the car. She was teasing her a lot so I like her. She said hi to my brothers she hadn't seen since high school it was very awkward. 

One week of school. I guess two days before finals. My brothers have been breathing down my back about studying and I still haven't. I just don't feel like it. Who knows maybe I won't. 

I come home from school on Tuesday officially done with the first semester. I have English and Math tomorrow. I look over English calling it good and do a few math problems leading my studying time to be about 45 minutes. 

"Charlie dinner!" Nic yells. I go down and sit in my spot. Lasagna! I grab a piece and devour it. I love Lasagna. It's my favorite food, and my brothers know it. They always make it to celebrate something or as a way of saying sorry.

"You ready for tomorrow?" Gio asks.

"Yep, I just finished studying." 

"Already?" he asks looking at his watch. I look at mine and it says 7 pm. 

"Yep started early and a few days before," I lie. After dinner, I watch a movie and go to bed. School is from 8-12 tomorrow the only thing being the finals. I get to school and sit down ready for English which is first. 

It's so easy, read a few things write claims, answer questions about the books we read the hardest part because I had to spark note those last night because I never read, and lastly write an intro and first body paragraph to an essay with no prior knowledge to what the prompt would be. I still finished in 45 minutes, leaving 45 minutes left. I sit there for fifteen minutes before turning my test in and leaving. Twenty minutes later more kids start to leave their classroom.

"Hey, darlin' how was it?" Elliot asks after he sees me.

"Easy finished so early how was yours?"

"Easy too." Turns out Elliot is really smart. I look around to see Sandro glaring at me and Elliot, but I ignore it continuing the conversation till I have to go for math. I walk into the room and sit between Ava and Bruno. Why did I do this?

"I'm so nervous for this test," Ava says. I reassure her it will be okay right before we get our test. This test has questions that are definitely meant to trick you, but I'm not falling for that. I finish in an hour and ten minutes and leave. I wait in the hallway to see Sandro wandering around.

"You done?"

"Yeah finished thirty minutes ago," he says looking at his watch.

"You finished your hard online advanced college math in forty minutes?" I say shocked.

"Yeah, it was easy." We wander aimlessly through the halls waiting for our other brothers to get out. Fifteen minutes later Luca comes into the hallway and joins us. A bit after 12 Bruno walks out with Ava, he kisses her bye and walks our way. Gross.

"That was hard," he says. "How did you finish so quickly?"

"I don't know," I say not mentioning what I thought to make him feel better about it. We are soon home and I am in my room. Tomorrow I have Chemistry and History. Chemistry will be easy, but I'm a bit worried about History. I spend about 15 minutes on a few Chem problems and an hour on History. Okay, I spend about two hours on it. I watched some dude called Heimler. Heimler's History I think and I did some research about South Carolina just in case. Dinner is the same with my brothers making sure all of us have studied.
