Zhan had just finished one of his assignments when the doorbell rang and shortly afterwards Sia screamed like crazy and called for Zhan: "Boss! Oh my God! Boss come here!" Zhan wondered what could have happened, rushed from his office to the entrance area and stopped. He looked around in confusion as he couldn't see anything out of the ordinary.
"Damn. What's going on?" He asked Sia, who was bouncing excitedly.
Sia grinned, went to the door, opened it and said, "Tada!"
"Hey Yibo, come in." Said Zhan and Sia's jaw dropped.
"What? How? Huh?" She asked, looking at Zhan as blankly as a three-year-old child who has been told that the cartoon characters he likes don't really exist. But Zhan just shrugged his shoulders without explaining. Because he still had no idea how to explain it.
Yibo held out his hand to Sia and tried not to laugh as she walked very slowly and hesitantly towards him, shook his hand and then suppressed a shriek as she said, "I'll never wash this hand again." Then she walked back to her workstation as if befuddled by some illegal substance and stared at her hand.
Sia stood behind the registration desk and asked, "So Mr. Wang, what can I do for you?"
"Um Sia, you've got it wrong. Yibo is not here to hire me." Said Zhan, hastily looking for an explanation as to why Yibo would always be with Zhan in the coming days or maybe weeks.
"What do you mean, boss?" She asked.
Yibo seemed to recognize Zhan's distress and intervened. The practiced liar said, "I'm doing an internship with Zhan. He and I met recently after my concert and when he told me what his job was, I immediately asked him if he could teach me a few things. Because there's a casting for a series coming up that's about a graphic designer. And I'd like to introduce myself there and show off a bit of knowledge. They always like to see that."
"Oh, I see." Sia said enthusiastically.
"That doesn't bother you, does it?" Asked Yibo.
Sia shook her head vigorously. "No, not at all! I'm happy about it. And hey, boss? You're lucky that I'm such a good and lovely assistant. If it wasn't for me, I would have spread the word on all my social networks that the idol Wang Yibo is working as an intern for my boss."
"That's why I'm keeping you. Because I know I can trust my sweety, my dear assistant." Zhan replied with a grin and rubbed her hair a little.
"What's going on with you two?" Yibo asked, confused.
"Oh, nothing. We're just fooling around. We just get on really well." Explained Zhan.
"Yes, I can see that. Um, Zhan? I need to talk to you about something in private." Yibo said and went ahead to Zhan's office. But not before he too had messed up Sia's hair a little. She laughed and then went back to her tax form.
Zhan sat down on his office chair while Yibo made himself comfortable on the edge of the desk. "Do you actually know the idol Jackson Wang?" Yibo asked, trying not to let his excitement show.
"Yes, of course. Who doesn't know him?" Zhan replied, leaning back in his office chair and looking closely at Yibo once again. Although he was slowly getting used to having Yibo around, he still couldn't calm his heart as soon as he looked at him or simply heard his sexy voice. But at least he managed to stop blushing as soon as his and Yibo's eyes met.
"Well now. I hereby solemnly announce that Agent Jackson Wang is now also in charge of the "Isla Isari" mission and is working with my team." Yibo beamed with joy.
Zhan sat up straight and asked, "That Jackson Wang? Damn, how many more superstars are secretly working for you guys?"
"Aren't you happy?"
