„Azia!" repeated the father in a slightly softer voice "can you tell me why you broke the rules again and went out to fly on a dragon? If you had told me that you wanted to fly over, I would have let you go, but something could happen to you!" said father.

„Okay, first things first: that dragon's name is Onyx, and he's the best dragon in the whole world. Second: you certainly wouldn't let me go alone, but you would only let me go with a guard, but they don't give me freedom, so no thanks, I'd rather stay in the castle. Third: Nothing could happen to me. I was invisible and Onyx was with me. Fourth: I'm tired of just being locked up in the castle and being there all day and all night, just no! I don't like it, I need freedom! And fifth, ehmmm, I can't think of anything after the fifth." I said and crossed my arms over my chest.

„Azia, how many times do I have to tell you that you must not go out alone? And besides, what were you doing out there?!" shouted father because he was running out of patience with me.

„I was flying over, wasn't I? Why else would I be out with the dragon?” I asked him and gave him a confused look.

„I want to know WHERE did you fly?!" asked the father. "Don't say you went flying over Kilmarnock!"

„Noooooooo..."

„Azia! You don't understand me?! You can't walk over that city! What if someone saw you there? What would you do then? Would you hide? It would be quite late for that, don't you think?"

„Okay, okay. I went to fly over Kilmarnock but no one noticed me, I swear, and besides, I have the right to see the world, and also, you can't keep me imprisoned here forever!”

„As long as you live under this roof, you will follow my orders! And most of all, remember, you'll soon be Queen Asia, so start behaving like one. You can't just fly out of the kingdom and forget about all the problems, that's just not possible and it doesn't work that way. When you're a queen you have to handle all the problems and deal with them too."

„Okay, I understand BUT I can't promise I won't do it again. Please give me time off at least until my eighteenth birthday. Then I will sit on the throne and rule, but please, at least now give me freedom." I put my hands in a begging gesture.

Father just sighed but said nothing.

„And you also have to think about the fact that I am no longer a little girl who needs constant protection and control over her life. I have to somehow learn to be independent, father."

I know Azia, I'm just...I'm scared. What if something happens to you? I don't want to lose you like I lost your mother."

„Father, trust me. Nothing will happen to me, I promise." I gave him my little finger as a sign of promise, and my father gave me his little finger again.

„Okay Azia, I believe you and give you freedom until your eighteenth birthday."

„Yes! Dad, you are amazing!” I squealed with joy.

„But on two conditions." as he finished, he stuck out his finger so that I wouldn't lose my attention.

„My God, Dad!" I said and rolled my eyes.

„First of all, you'll always have to let me know that I'm going to fly over and where you're going to fly over." he said the first condition.

„Well, OK. And the second condition?" I asked because I didn't like how he was prolonging it.

„And the second condition is that by your eighteenth birthday you must find a partner to sit on the throne with."

„But dad." I started but he interrupted me.

„No buts. Go to your chamber, right now.”

„Okay" I said and went up the stairs to my room. When I was on the stairs, I could still hear what my father said to me between the doors.

„And you can keep that dragon egg in your pocket, just watch out for it and most of all learn to tame that dragon. Neither you or I want that little thing to harm this kingdom."
