Chapter 9

Recap : "You've to tell him so that he sees you in that way! He's too dumb to take hints!"

THIRD PERSON'S POV:
After thoroughly planning, they came to a conclusion that Yeji has to confess her actual feelings.

"But I don't have the guts to tell him directly."
Yeji posed a problem in front of them and the three started thinking.

"So what should we do so that he gets to know about her her feelings?"
Soobin said while Lia took a bite from the white sauce pasta and looked at the three having worried facial expressions.

"What's bothering? You can write him a letter."
Lia said casually but the three looked at her in immense surprise.

"That will definitely work!"
Mrs. Choi squealed and seeing everyone getting impressed by her plan, Lia looked at them in confusion but then continued to eat.

"Okay! I've to go for an important meeting! Bye!"
Mrs. Choi said while standing up. She patted on Yeji's head and started to leave but stopped and again walked towards the three.

"Yeji, give me your number. You can contact me anytime and not just for Yeonjun's case, you can share your problems with me too!"
She said warmly and Yeji smiled at her. Mrs. Choi turned out to be so kind and generous. She was down to earth, unlike most of the rich people and that's what Yeji admired the most about her.

She saved Lia's number too and finally left. The three looked at her go away in a smile.

"She's such a nice lady!"
Yeji said in admiration.

"She indeed is!"
Lia said after taking the last bite from the pasta while Soobin and Yeji could just laugh.

The three left the place and they all had a small smile on their faces. Soobin dropped them to their dorm and both the girls' smile wouldn't drop.

Both of them went straight to their room and collectively got reminded that they have pending assignments and backlogs so they quickly changed up.

Yeji sat on the study table and started studying physics while Lia had due Chemistry assignments so she sat on her bed to complete them.

After three hours, Lia was finally done with the assignments but she looked at Yeji who was still studying.

She then went to kitchen without talking to Yeji and started to cook something. Yeji finally finished studying and her attention finally got diverted to Lia who was putting some dishes on the dining table. Yeji was already hungry so she didn't waste a second and went towards the dining table and sat down while clasping her hands.

"Woah! My favorite soup with fried rice!"
Yeji said while looking at the dinner which was already smelling delicious.

"You're the one and only person after my family that cares the most about me."
Yeji said to Lia getting a little emotional.

"Woah! What's with the emotional stuff?"
Lia tried to lighten up her mood and Yeji laughed it off too. Those two then ate the dinner together happily with laughter.

The next day, Soobin, Lia and Yeji looked as if they were on a mission looking too serious. Every student gave them a weird gaze who walked past them. The three then entered the library and sat on a corner of a huge table.

Soobin started searching for a Chemistry book while Lia started reading a fashion blog on her phone and Yeji was blankly looking at a pink paper.

"What should I write?"

"Dear Yeonjun, I like you-"

"Wait! That'll be too instant!"

"As you know that-"

"Oh c'mon!"

"Jabse mere naina tere naino se laage re-"
(The moment my eyes met yours-)

"God Yeji! What's up that Hindi Rizz?!"

"Calm down! I just need to write down how I feel about him."

Yeji was having an internal war with herself and by now, Soobin's and Lia's attention shifted on her too who were looking at Yeji making weird faces.

After thinking for while, Yeji started to write down something on that paper and Lia's eyes widened who was reading the letter along.

"My god! That's so good!"
Lia said in surprise and Soobin looked at the letter too. Though it hurt him but he didn't let his emotions come out but there was someone who noticed his expressions. It was Lia.

"Perfect!"
Yeji said and she put that letter inside a pink envelope and looked at it with a smile.

"Oh look, it's Yeonjun!"
Lia said while noticing Yeonjun who was studying. She put a hand on Soobin's shoulder to which he looked at her in confusion.

"Go, and somehow hide this letter in his book. He will read it later."
Lia said and Soobin nodded as he took the letter from her and went towards Yeonjun.

Soobin sat with Yeonjun who was busy studying while Lia and Yeji were looking at them from a distance. Lia had Binoculars this time too.

"Who the hell gives you this?!"
Yeji pointed at the Binoculars.

"Author."
Lia pointed at the author who was looking at everyone proudly.

Meanwhile Soobin was being a little too awkward with Yeonjun who was looking at him in confusion.

"Do you want something?"
Yeonjun asked and Soobin laughed awkwardly.

"Haha! No! Oh wow, the shirt looks great on you, is it new?"
Soobin tried to initiate a conversation, more precisely, distracting him so he can easily put that letter inside his book.

"But this shirt is an old one."
Yeonjun said after looking at his shirt. Soobin, who was done with his work laughed awkwardly and stood up and disappeared as if nothing happened. Yeonjun stared at him weirdly for a few minutes and shrugged it off and went back to his studying session again.

Soobin took a long and deep breath as he reached towards them and showed them a thumbs up as Yeji squealed in excitement.

The three then stood up as the bell rang and it was time for their lecture of Chemistry. The three reached inside the class but Yeji stopped as she heard someone mention her name. She turned around to see Yeonjun holding the same envelope.

"Hwang Yeji, I think this is yours, it has your name written on it."
Yeonjun said and before Yeji could even react someone snatched the envelope from Yeonjun's hand and opened it and started reading it. It was a girl who started speaking loudly for everyone to hear.

"Oh, Hwang Yeji has written a love letter for Yeonjun!"
