Chapter 7

Recap : "Someone shared your and Yeonjun's pictures in the university's group!"

THIRD PERSON'S POV:
Yeji quickly saw her phone and there were actually Yeji's and Yeonjun's pictures of them. Some students bad mouthing her and some were even sl*t shaming. Memories started filling up in her mind and some voices started echoing.

"Unnie! Wake up!"

"UNNIE!"

"Unnie!"
Yeji shouted while covering her ears to prevent the voices. She stood up and left the party as tears brimmed her eyes. Lia ran after her and Soobin chased them both and the most unexpected part for everyone was that Yeonjun followed them too.

"He really seems to care about that girl."
A girl whispered to another, the same girl who purposely made Yeji fall.

Meanwhile Yeji left the party venue and sat on a bench on the roadside with her face resting on her hands. She couldn't stop crying.

Lia reached quickly and started patting on her back. She genuinely felt really angry at whoever sent it in the university group. She knew why Yeji reacted like that.

"Yeji, calm down!"
Lia said to her.

"HOW THE HELL DID YOU RUN SO FAST WITH THOSE HEELS!"
Soobin said to Lia while panting. He saw Yeji and removed his coat and put it on her as Yeji looked up. She saw Yeonjun coming towards them.

"Do you have an idea? Who did this?"
Soobin asked him and Yeonjun nodded in response.

"Of course, check the contact which shared the photos."
Yeonjun said and Soobin did as directed and his brows wrinkled when he saw that contact.

"Junwon! That brat! He took admission in our University?"
Yeonjun nodded at Soobin's statement.

"Wait, dad's calling!"
Yeonjun said and he picked up the call. He only listened and did not speak a single word and hung up the call.

"I've to go, drop them to their dorm. And Yeji, you're not at the fault, don't stress."
He said and left the place while Soobin led both of them to the car but this time, he let Yeji sit with Lia in the backseat.

"You're talking about that Junwon?! From the party?!"
Lia asked and Soobin nodded. He started driving to their dorm.

"Yes, he's the same that I mentioned who got slapped by Yeonjun's mom."
Soobin said.

"Whoever the fuck that is, what problem does he have with Yeji?!"
Lia almost yelled.

"He has a problem with Yeonjun and that's why he sent them intended to make him look bad on the basis of those pictures."
Soobin said.

"His family and Yeonjun's family are business rivals that's why he tries to defame Yeonjun everytime and be better than him."
Soobin explained and with that, he reached in front of their dorm.

"Yeonjun got a call from his dad, is he going to get yelled at?"
Yeji asked with concern.

"No, he's actually used to it and he can handle the situation. Don't stress yourself!"
He smiled and bid goodbyes with them.

Both Yeji and Lia went to their room and Yeji just fell on her bed with a loud groan and Lia just smiled.

"Fuck that Junwon, we didn't even get to eat there!"
Lia cursed and Yeji giggled which was enough to melt anyone.

"Do we have ramen?"
Lia said while looking in the kitchen cabinet but felt a pair or arms hugging her from behind. She smiled as she knew, it was Yeji.

"Woah, what's all this affection for?"
She asked with a smile without turning around.

"I'm sorry, you didn't enjoy the party. It's all because of me."
Yeji said in a lower voice after she parted and Lia looked at her.

"Do you think that I would've enjoyed the party without you?"
Lia said and Yeji shook her head.

"Go and get changed, I'll cook some ramen!"
Lia said and Yeji went to the washroom to get changed.

After a few minutes, Yeji got out and saw Lia putting two bowls of ramen on the table. She dragged her out from the washroom and herself went inside.

"Don't you dare take extra ramen from my bowl!"
Lia threatened Yeji after peeking from the door after a few seconds and Yeji just smiled and nodded.

After sometime, Lia got out too with a smile.

"Feels so great after wearing casual clothes!"
Lia said while stretching her arms. She saw that Yeji hasn't started eating yet so she joined her and both of them ate together.

Yeji was about to take a bite of the noodles but her phone started ringing. Yeji looked at it and saw that an unknown number was calling her. She picked it up only to get the biggest shock of her life.

"Hello, am I talking to Ms. Yeji?"
That voice said.

"Yes...I am Yeji."
Yeji replied but the next thing she heard was enough to send shivers down to her spine. She hung up the call after a few minutes and she was in such a great shock that her horrified expressions didn't change, even after the call ended.

"Who was it?"
Lia asked after noticing Yeji's expressions.

"Yeonjun's mom! She wants to meet me!"
