"Its alright,YunYun.Please don't feel bad."

The calming voice of a blue haired young man with striking golden eyes,Xingqiu,echoed in the empty street,where he sat on a bench with his dearest lover.

"This is terrible.I swore I'd exorcise the evil spirit this time.I have such terrible luck."

A pale blue haired young man,with icy blue eyes groaned in defeat,his face hidden in his hands.This man was Chongyun,an exorcist from Liyue.

He was the dear lover of Xingqiu,the second son of the Guild Manager of the Feiyun Commerce Guild.

Chongyun had just returned from a lead about an evil spirit empty handed.He didn't see nor feel any negative energies.He blamed this on his luck,and on his curse.

The gentle Chongyun was born with a pure-yang spirit,a surplus of positivity.Not only would he completely purify any evil in his area just with his presence,he also suffered from increasing body temperature,which could make him very impulsive and reckless if he didn't stay cool at all times.

If he got too hot,he'd get out of control and succumb to any sudden urges that plagued his mind.Xingqiu knew this very well.

Xingqiu wasn't always honest.
He knew Chongyun could purify any evil in a matter of seconds due to his pure-yang spirit,so he'd lie to his lover about leads to raise Chongyun's mood.

Then,he'd be hit with a wave of guilt once Chongyun returned to him with complaints about his failure.Xingqiu made it up,so he knew that would happen.

To fight his guilt for lying,Xingqiu would offer his lover ice cold treats to cool him down after his journey,and kind,loving words to heal the wounds of failure.This time was no different.Xingqiu lied,Chongyun returned upset,Xingqiu felt bad and decided to comfort him.Thats what lead them to sit on a bench together and talk.

"I'm so tired.So much time wasted with no reward..."

Chongyun grabbed at his pale blue locks,infuriated.

"Don't get angry,my dearest.There is always next time."

Xingqiu rested a gentle hand on the exorcist's shoulder,pulling him closer.

"You keep saying that but...things always end this way."

Chongyun glanced up at his blue haired partner,his eyes dull with disappointment.The face Chongyun made just then was what triggered Xingqiu's guilt,although he was still happy that the exorcist's relied on him for comfort.

"One day,I'm sure you'll be able to perform a proper exorcism."

The swordsman presses a gentle kiss to Chongyun's temple,a gesture that usually comforted the exorcist.With a shaky sigh,Chongyun buried his face in Xingqiu's shoulder...

"I guess you're right..."

The exorcist mumbled,feeling a small bit better.Xingqiu turned his head away.His face was red as he covered his mouth to hide his smile.He relished in these moments where his lover showed him such affection.

Chongyun was normally distant and out of tune with his emotions due his need to stay calm.Xingqiu was still shocked he had gotten a confession from the exorcist in the first place.When it came to their relationship,the swordsman was mainly the one to give attention and affection.

"Ah,you're so cute,YunYun.It's incredibly difficult to handle."

Xingqiu swoons,he ran his fingers through the exorcist's hair.

"Let's just spend some time together for the rest of the day.Im exhausted."

Said Chongyun,his eyes meeting Xingqiu's.
