"Golden Finch."(MikaFrem)

Mondstadt,the region of Freedom,the Land of Anemo.A land of joy and pleasant sunshine.This region had an unfamiliar guest,one from a region far away.In the grasslands of Windrise,a young male knelt on the ground,his attention captured.

This male's hair was a milky blonde,styled with square bangs and a short cut,and his eyes a gorgeous sapphire blue.His clothing black and gold, quite foreign to Mondstadt.This male was Freminet.A skilled diver and a shy,soft spoken boy.

Freminet was from Fontaine,the Land of Hydro and Justice.For why he was kneeling on the ground...he had drawn the attention of a bird.A golden finch,able to be found in every nook and cranny of Teyvat.

The golden finch had taken a liking to the Fontainian man and approached him as Freminet was observing the nation's flowers,Windwheel Asters.The male was intrigued and decided to humor the bird.It perched on his offered finger,closing its eyes and snuggling into its own body,seemingly resting.

Freminet stayed very still,unwilling to interupt the finch's rest.For why a Fontainian male was in Mondstadt in the first place?He had a very special reason for coming to this land.

"Is that a golden finch?"

A high pitched yet gentle voice emanated from behind the diver,causing him to turn his head to the voice.Behind him stood his special reason.

A young male,a similar age to Freminet,approached.His hair a golden blonde,pulled into a short ponytail,his bangs fluffy,his ends a burnt sienna,and his eyes a lapis blue.His clothes white and navy.

This male was Mika.
He was from the Land of Anemo,Mondstadt.Part of the Knights of Favonius.The front-line surveyor of the Reconnaissance.He was also practicing to become an expert cartographer.A low-key,introverted boy.

"Yes....he just approached me...and fell asleep..."

Muttered the diver,his eyes instinctively taking in the cartographer's figure,then quickly looking away,back to the sleeping bird on his finger.

Freminet's freckled cheeks flushed a soft red,embarrassed for staring at the Favonius Knight.

"Golden finches like really quiet and calm areas,so I'm sure it sensed how gentle you are,Freminet!"

Mika knelt next to the Fontainian,their shoulders pressed up agaisnt eachother,keeping his movements silent,as not to disturb the small bird.

"Ah...y-yeah."

The diver didn't dare look at Mika,yet relished in his close proximity.As they both stared at the resting bird pirched on Freminet's finger,the diver's mind began to wander to why exactly he was in Mondstadt.

Though from an outsiders perspective,Mika and Freminet seemed like really good friends,but in actuality,they were in a relationship.A couple months strong.

Many weeks ago,Mika and Eula,the leader of the Reconnaissance team,decided to vacate together to Fontaine.Their stay was quite the trip to remember.Once,Mika found himself lost on one of the region's many beaches.At first,he was very concerned about how he'd get back.

As he worriedly paced the beach,he saw a suspicious pile of Romaritime flowers near the shoreline.This distracted the cartographer from his current predicament,so he approached the strange occurrence and knelt on the sand,observing it carefully.

But as he inspected it,someone suddenly emerged from under the water with a diving suit on,including the helmet,which startled the Favonius Knight.The suspicious person held another Romaritime flower in his hand but froze as he saw someone infront the pile he was about to add another flower to.

The suspicious diver began to panic and removed his helmet,revealing his flustered,freckled face.It was Freminet.The two men met eyes for a moment...then they furiously began to utter apologies to the other.
