"See, you can't get admission till 22 anyway," Jay shrugged when Yuki almost shouted as she questioned "Why!?"

"That's the rule," Heeseung said and this time Brielle almost shouted "For everyone!?"

"Why would it not be for everyone?" Heeseung laughed.

"No... I thought it was Yuki's family's decision or something..." she mumbled making Jay chuckle.

"No, it's not. The minimum age of admission is 22. They don't take young kids because it's quite hard and they want competition at an equal level," Jay explained.

"So if you're older than 22 you can't apply?" Brielle asked.

"No no," Jay shook his head as he put down his chopsticks to explain.
"It's like, if you apply next year, you guys will be 18 right? but some people might be 20, 23, 26 who knows? so they don't take students in till they're 22. You must have many older kids in your class too."

"Yeah... the average age is 20 in our grade," Yuki nodded.

"It's 22 in ours," Heeseung added. "And I'm not yet 19 and Jay just turned 18 like? 4 months ago?"

"Ohhhh" both the girls looked at each other while nodding, finally understanding.

"My point is," Jay continued. "Since you have 4 years till you can finally apply, why don't you guys get another degree in the mean time?"

"Me and Jay are gonna do business administration too," Heeseung added and Jay nodded while looking at the girls wondering what they'd want to do.

"I can do business administration too since it'll help in my career later on," Brielle mumbled.

"We're doing it for the same reason," Jay informed the girl who looked at him and smiled as she had the same thought process as Jay but she suddenly looked away, "What am I thinking!?"

"I hate maths though..." Yuki frowned. "I'll study history then!" she clapped.

"Huh... out of the blue?" Jay raised his brow as he didn't see much scope of it nor would it help in her fashion degree.

"I've come to realise I really enjoy history," Yuki informed the boy as she thought of all the fun crash courses in history she watched on YouTube.

"Oh, that sounds nice. I like english literature too..." Brielle smiled as she thought it wasn't a bad idea to spend some leisure time before the architecture degree and then jobs...

"You literally suck at name and dates..." Jay remarked as he didn't understand what was going on in her head.

"It's not like I'll persue it as a profession. I'll just do enough to pass the subjects and enjoy the tea," she grinned.

"No! I'll teach you maths!" Jay was adamant, how could he let his sister waste 4 years of her life over something so stupid?

"It's not that I can't do maths... The problem is I don't like maths!?" Yuki was more stubborn than him anyway, he couldn't win.

"You actually can't do maths Yuki," Brielle laughed as she remembered her crying over the fact that the only thing she understood in stats was taking out the mean.... of ungrouped data.

"Plus, how will you teach her over call?" Heeseung inquired and Jay's eyes suddenly went white, wide open as he indicated Heeseung to shut up about the matter he had forgotten to bring up.

"Why would he need to call me?" Yuki laughed at the boy who turned to her slowly, wondering how he'll cover the slip of tongue.

"Because...." he looked at her, "obviously...." he looked away and suddenly looked back. "Do you know I'm going back to Canada once I have my certificate???" Heeseung laughed awkwardly, changing the topic suddenly, assured that the girl will forget about the past comment.

"Oh really? For how long?" Brielle asked as she felt happy for the boy because she couldn't go back to England even if she wished to.

"Till I get my BBA degree," he replied happily at his success.

"Jay..." Yuki looked at him with her eyes, unlike the wide eager ones, droopy and Jay knew she had caught on. "You're going with him?"

Brielle's head turned to Yuki, shocked at the question and then to Jay, suddenly worried.

Jay wiped his lips with the napkin and then rested both his hands on the table. "It seems so," he said and both the girls' hearts sank. Yuki's because he was her only friend and Brielle's... she was unaware of it but it was very uncomfortable.

"What do you mean "It seems so?"" Yuki was well aware, but how could she accept him suddenly going away for a full 4 years? There was nothing more absurd than that to her. What was she supposed to do alone?

"Yuki, I know it's sudden," Jay said as he knew a storm was coming his way.

"It's not just that," she said and before anyone could guess what she'd say next, and as they prepared for her usual shouting, she got up and left the restaurant.

The three looked at eachother, confused. "I told you not to say it until I do!?" Jay shouted at the boy.

"Man you had 5 months to tell her... How was I supposed to know!?" Heeseung frowned, he was scared.

"Then you'd go around deciding everything yourself!? You really need to shut up sometimes!" He said while getting up to collect his and her things.

"You're being too harsh. You know I didn't-" his sentence was cut off.

"Fuck off," Jay glared but his gaze suddenly turned to the little girl who had been sitting in front of him. He clicked his tongue and took a deep breath, "I'm sorry, please get home safely," he said and rushed outside leaving the two to watch him in silence till he was out of sight.

"Is he really angry?" Brielle who had sunk deep into her sofa finally sat straight.

The boy looked at her with his lips stretched into a thin line and gave a tiny nod.

"Aren't you going to go after him?" she asked.

"He'll get even more angry if I leave you behind," Heeseung chuckled.

He wanted to go to him too but he knew Jay wouldn't care even if he knew it wasn't alone Heeseung's fault. He'd calm down himself once he was done dealing with his sister, he knew it'd be fine but it still bothered him. Offending Jay always scared him because Jay never held a grudge for long, because Jay never was honest about his feelings.

Jay looked around and couldn't find the girl, he knew it was his fault, upsetting Yuki, upsetting Heeseung but he couldn't help it. He knew way too well why he couldn't just tell his sister the whole time.

"You're home?" Yuki's mother asked and the boy nodded with a faint smile.

"Where's dad?" Jay asked.

"He's in the lounge, why?" She questioned while walking to the door to shut it as Jay hadn't.

"I need to talk to both of you."

"Ah, is it something happy or sad?" he questioned again.

"Hm?" Jay tilted his head not understanding why she'd ask that when she'll find out anyway in a moment.

"So that I know whether I should get cookies and tea or just tea," she chuckled, making the boy do the same. "You can bring both."
