"Jay?"

Jay turned around as he heard a middle aged woman calling his name only to find out it was Brielle's mother.

"Mrs. Oh? What a surprise!" he gave his best business smile.

"That's what I should say! You're shopping for groceries?" she said in surprise.

"Ah yes," he chuckled.

"Mom! I think we should try these instead this time. Josh didn't like the one's we got last ti-" Brielle's words were cut short as she saw her mother standing with... Jay!?

"What are you doing here?" She asked not remembering she had to smile.

"It was too hot so mom didn't feel like coming," he chuckled awkwardly.

"Oh she must be so proud to have such a reliable son!" Brielle's mother patted his shoulders.

"Ah, well," he smiled again. It was getting monotonous, he wanted to go and hide and as he saw Brielle leaving he took his chance, "I'll... I'll get going then," he smiled.

"Yes! Why don't you join us for lunch?" Mrs. Oh asked.

"Ah.. I'm so sorry, Yuki said she had somewhere to go with me," he apologised.

"Oh! How's Yuki! She hasn't been over since her brother returned," Mrs Oh smiled as she missed her around the house.

"I'll be leaving in a week I'm sure you'll get to see her almost everyday then," he chuckled.

"I can't wait."

"How did you come though?" Jay asked.

"Oh we came with her dad but he had somewhere to go," she answered while Brielle had returned once again with a basket full of the required things.

"How will you go then?" he frowned slightly, it was his habit to do so every time he was thinking of something seriously.

"We'll take a cab," she replied.

"Why don't I drop you two?" he asked and Brielle's eyes quickly turned to her mother hoping she'll decline the offer and to her relief, she did.

"No, I can't bother you like that." her mother replied.

"No, please," he insisted.

"But I seriously don't want to disturb you like that," she shook her head.

"I'll wait in case I'm done before you," he said. It's too hot outside, how can I let Brielle stay in such heat?

"Oh, Alright then!" she said and Brielle cried inside. How can my own mother make me suffer like that!?

Heeseung was walking back from the arcade when he saw Yuki sitting in front of her house. He wondered what she was doing squatting down like that but upon coming closer, his eyes fell on the cat.

"Ooo my pretty little kitty baby," Yuki spoke in a baby voice as she scratched a stray cat's neck. "Who's a good little baby?" she spoke again making the boy laugh as he squatted down beside her.
