Nico POV:
When Nico woke up, he groaned. He didn't want to get up, because getting up meant possibly having to see Will. The son of Apollo had avoided him ever since that night, and every time Nico tried to talk to him, he couldn't go through with it. That talk would inevitably end with Nico sharing his crush.
Yes, he'd accepted that he had a crush on a boy, but he wasn't ready to actually tell that boy. Especially because he was certain that Will didn't feel the same, otherwise he wouldn't be avoiding Nico.
Luckily, the first capture the flag game with Camp Jupiter was tonight, so hopefully that would distract him. And he was excited to see Hazel and Reyna again after almost a month since the war against Gaia. Huh. It'd been a long time since he was actually excited for something. It felt...pretty nice actually.
And with any luck, he and Will would never cross paths.
