Nico POV:
Nico hadn't realized how late it was. It was mid evening, and everyone was probably at dinner right now, leaving him and Will to walk the camp grounds alone. It was nice. Really nice. Nico couldn't really deny his feelings after that dream about Will, so he stopped trying to. He was a proud gay teen with a crush on a boy. And despite everything he'd been taught when he was younger, it was okay.
When they got to Cabin 13, Nico didn't want Will to go yet. But he knew they'd see each other again. Will said they would, and he hadn't broken any promises so far. It was one of the things Nico liked about him.
"Well, um, this is your stop," Will said, almost reluctantly. But that was probably Nico's hopeful imagination.
"Yeah, I guess it is."
"Well, I had fun hanging out with you, even if it was against your will."
"Me too."
They both stared into each other's eyes, and for a second, Nico thought Will was about to kiss him. But whatever was going to happen never did, because Jason said "Nico? Is that you?"
Nico and Will quickly stepped away from each other, turning bright red.
"I should, um, I should go." Will said, then hurried off.
Nico thought about going after him, but decided against it.
"Was I...interrupting something?" Jason asked.
Nico sighed and said, "I honestly have no idea."
