Third person pov:

Evergreen Academy, an academy just like any other, with good and bad students, but let's focus on one class in particular: Class 3-C, third year.

Like any normal senior high school class, it has its top students. The classroom accommodates a total of 35 students. It was almost time for the lesson to start.

A man at the farthest seat in the left corner is staring at the hallway while playing with his pen, each tap of the ballpen making an audible *click* sound, much like the others.

"Damn it... I need the class to end now..." This man was Logan Viridis, an average student at Evergreen Academy.

He has black hair, is 6'1" tall, has brown eyes, is a member of the art club, and a mediocre artist. He's also the one playing with his pen. Suddenly, a classmate walked over to him - his long-time childhood friend and resident class wrecker, Valeria Hart.

Valeria, a typical blondie with hazel eyes, is 5'6" tall, and always cares for Logan as a true friend. She observes Logan grabbing a chair, slumping over his desk, and sighing.

"Ugh... the homework was difficult. I couldn't even use the net yesterday; I have to go to the library just to answer it."

Logan was quite surprised, and he stopped fidgeting with his pen.

"We have homework?!?!" The whole class heard it.

Making some of them freeze too. Valeria couldn't help but facepalm due to Logan forgetting about the homework.

"Yes, we have homework, Logan...and it's for the first class too."

*Crunch*

The pen that Logan was playing with broke. He hurriedly gathered everything from his notebooks and took out another pen from his bag before asking Valeria.

"What's the assignment about, quick!" He was most likely worried about his grades.

Just like the other students who heard it, Valeria answered, "Alright, the homework is about the prohibition era. You should know a lot about it."

With that confirmation, some of the students and Logan started jotting down everything they knew about the era.

Just before the class bell started ringing, Logan completed the homework. He stretched his arms a bit up high before sighing with relief and looking at the wall clock. It was time for class to start.

The students took their seats, and Logan quickly noticed something wasn't right. It wasn't the misplaced chair at the back nor the drawing on the board.

It was barely noticeable, but a very small pentagram was etched in the middle of the class. He thought it was just a sketch by one of the weird classmates in the class...

But it wasn't. The moment everyone stood up to greet the teacher, the pentagram grew larger and larger until it engulfed the whole class.

Before they could react, a bright light came from the pentagram, making them all close their eyes, and the pentagram transported everyone in the class, including the teacher, to another world.

Logan pov:

The moment I opened my eyes, I was falling... from the sky?!?!?!??

**"AHHHHH!"**

I screamed. Of course, it was terrifying! When I closed my eyes, I was in my classroom, and now I'm falling from the sky!

From this height, I'll definitely die! I tried thinking of a way to at least make my death less painful. I searched the ground even though I'm literally 1000 feet in the air and free-falling.

I spotted one - a haystack, tall and quite dense. It might be possible to survive. So, I maneuvered my way to land at the haystack, hoping that it wouldn't be that bad.

I prepared myself, closed my eyes, and hoped for the best.

But the moment I thought I would land, it was like something just stopped my fall. It didn't feel solid nor liquid - was it the wind?

But it's impossib-

a few seconds later, I felt the thing that stopped my fall is gone, and I fell to the center of the haystack.

I have a feeling that a few hours have passed.

I was woken up by a horse licking my nose. "AH!" I jolted up and got myself away from the horse.

"Where am I..." I investigated my surroundings. It looked like a horse stable, with wooden gates to keep the horses locked and a feeding bowl in the corner.

Of course, there was an entrance - no door nor fence door, just an open hole styled in an arch gate. I exited the horse stable and was now in an open plateau.

I looked at the sky - was the sky this clear before?

More importantly, this isn't Evergreen Academy.

I walked around a bit more around the perimeter of the stable before making a decision and going to an elevated spot, just near the stable.

I made my way there and stopped. "This isn't Evergreen Academy..."

I was amazed at what I was seeing.

I momentarily looked at the sky and saw... a dragon passing by. "This isn't Earth," I said to myself as I walked around, watching as some clouds roll in the sky.

I ran up towards a cliff to gain a better vantage point and found that a city was nearby- think of rice terraces, but wide and large, and instead of rice, it is filled to the brim with houses.

Each plateau of the Terrace is different - the first terrace is filled with what looks like a grand bazaar, the second terrace had buildings with smoke coming out of their chimneys, the third is filled with shining and extravagant-like buildings.

But the last terrace, the fourth, is one big statue overlooking everything in the rice terrace-like city.

I gulped, amazed and terrified. "Where...am I?" I questioned myself. As I was walking to the unique city, only God knows where I'm going.

And only God knows how this will all start my adventure...
