Two weeks turned into one month, and I found myself growing accustomed to living with Jeff. Every day, he taught me something new.Today, I was enjoying the beauty of nature, sitting by the window with my cup of coffee, much like the first day I arrived. Jeff, freshly showered, approached me.
"Eris, today we leave the base," he said with his usual cold voice.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"We are... actually, you're going back home. I have some other plans."
"Back home?" I asked, shocked.
"Yeah, you know how to deal with the stupid humans, well, that is if they are not psycho or worse, like me," he said, laughing. "And where are you going?" I inquired.
"None of your business. I have other stuff to do instead of teaching a girl how to possibly kill people. Besides, I got bored of you."
"Okay, so when are we meeting again?"
"Again?" Jeff chuckled. "Eris, I don't think you understood my point. You are going home, forgetting about the base. Never come here ever again. You won't see me again, or maybe just when I come to kill you for good. But until then, forget about me, my existence, ever meeting me again."
"Jeff, what are you..." He interrupted me, saying, "I don't have time for your drama, girl. It is what it is. You are going home to your mommy and never think or talk about my existence to anyone."
He left the room, leaving me alone with my coffee. However, he returned after some time, handed me the clothes I wore on my first day, and sent me to change. I didn't say anything, just followed his orders. He escorted me back to the tunnel leading to the old house.
"Aren't you coming?" I asked.
"You go first. It's daytime. I'll wait inside for a while and then leave," he replied.
I looked at him, and he showed no emotion. I went straight home.
Jeff's Perspective
I returned to the base, questioning what I was thinking spending a month with a student girl. I opened the basement and finished what I had started. Eris had no idea that three girls were imprisoned in the basement. I had been torturing them every day, testing different substances. Now that it was over, I had to dispose of their bodies and any evidence.
After dealing with them, I burned everything in the house that could indicate someone lived there—clothes, sheets, everything. When I finished, I left the base and headed back to my house, or whatever you could call it.
I walked through the forest until I reached a metallic fence that read "Danger, Do Not Enter." I jumped the fence and continued for another 30 minutes. As I walked, I noticed a knife sticking into a tree. I looked up.
"Jeffrey, I thought you finally went to the police to confess your crimes!" said a voice from the tree.
"You wish, Jack! Keep dreaming," I replied, laughing.
A dead body fell from the tree, and I turned my head back to Jack. He said, "Oh, that's my present for you. We missed you."
I looked at him with a cold expression; he didn't surprise me. Passing by the dead body, I went straight into the house. Once there, I took a shower and headed to the kitchen. A tentacle came to my neck.
"Where have you been?" asked Slender.
"I was busy," I replied.
"For one month?" he said nonchalantly.
"Yeah, any problem, Slender?"
He looked at my face, retreated his tentacle, and then stood right in front of me while saying, "Jeff... oh, Jeff," said Slender, laughing.
"What?!" I said nervously.
"JACK, JEFF IS THINKING ABOUT A GIRL!" declared Slender, screaming and laughing.
