I woke up to the sound of Jeff entering the room, his demeanor as cold as the morning air.

"Morning," I greeted, but he responded with disinterest.

"Jeff, where are you going?" I asked, trying to break through the frost in his voice.

"None of your concerns," he replied, leaving me puzzled and frustrated.

As I contemplated the strange encounter with Jeff, there was a knock on the door. It was the mysterious stranger from the night before.

"Is your friend here?" he inquired.

"No, he just left," I replied, attempting to downplay my disappointment.

"Well, that's a shame. What about you? Any plans for today?" asked with a hint of mischief.

"Not sure yet. Why?" I replied cautiously.

"How about spending the day with me?" he suggested, his voice dripping with seduction.

Unsure about his intentions, I hesitated, "I don't even know your name."

"Richard," he said, flashing a charming smile.

Jeff's perspective

"Jeff, here you are!"

I turned my head back, and there was Jane.

"Hey, pussy!" I said to her.

"Watch your mouth! I missed you," Jane retorted.

"Yeah, whatever. Why are you here?"

"I've got some things to do. Also, Slender told me you're gonna be here, so..." She said with a seductive voice, looking into my eyes.

"Things like what?" I asked.

"Don't worry; it's in the past now." She showed me a knife full of blood. "Now, the other thing I came for is you, Jeffrey."

"Jane, look—" She interrupted me.

"Don't tell me it's true what Slender said; you're with a girl?"

"Wait, what did Slender tell you?" I asked, frustrated. Why can't he keep his mouth shut? I wondered to myself.

"I don't know, something about you leaving with a girl. But since she's not here, I suppose that's not true," Jane said, laughing.

I rolled my eyes; I didn't want to get into an argument with her. I already knew she's crazy.

"Look, Jane, I don't have time for this shit. I'll go now."

She grabbed my hand and said, "Wait! Why don't we go for a treat?" She winked at me.

"Sure, but nothing more, okay? One kill, and I'm back!" I declared.

Later at the Hotel bar

I don't know how I got here with Jane; she's like a dog, following me everywhere.

"Jeff, more wine?" she asked.

"Nah, I think I'm fine."

"Come on, I'll leave tomorrow; we should drink another one!"

"Oh, fine, but this is the last one. I wonder if Eris stayed in that room all day; I mean, I hope she did. I still have to tell her about this hotel; she's not safe alone."

While I was thinking about Eris, I saw two silhouettes approaching us. My mind blew up when I realized it was Richard with Eris holding his arm. Richard was wearing a suit, and Eris was wearing the most stunning red dress, like they were a couple from the '80s. My heart raced as I saw her, but a mix of jealousy and concern crept into my heart.
