We're in my office going over some files regarding the people that the red doves took

"I can't believe that they'd do that to their own people" Kate complains she's been complaining since she heard the news

I'm not happy about it either sigh

"Oh," Kate said as she walked over to me with a file

" Look at this person," she said and placed the file down on my desk

I scan the file

I stopped reading at that " not interested"

"Seriously she's a freaking werewolf and ur gonna pass that up not to mention she's intersex" 

"So? She's 5'4 I'm not interested in short girls" I stated 

" The fuck who cares if she's short or not she's still a woman, you know what fine you don't want her I'll take her after we save them"

"Be my guest" Kate walked back over to the couch and sat down

" She's right you know, height shouldn't matter" Charles chimes in his eyes still glued to the file he has in his hand

After about 10 hours we finished and memorized everybody that should be at the auction including all the slaves we needed to rescue

Getting bored of being bored I got up and went downstairs to get myself a drink

"Oh hey, boss u good?" Aiden asked, "I'm fine Aiden what y'all up to?" I questioned getting a cranberry water from the fridge

Yes it is a human drink but it tastes good

"Nth much just watching TV the humans are quite interesting" 

I just nodded

Just then Mark and his mate walked in she went to the bathroom and he walked over to us "Sup boss" Mark said but I didn't respond

"So boss when u planning on finding ur mate ur not getting any younger" and just like that the entire mansion went silent

You couldn't hear anything but the wind

He must be new here seeing as he asked me that question everybody knows that it's forbidden

I just stare at this man that I don't know

"Boss?" he said noticing the silence

I stepped up to him not saying a word

He tensed up "boss?" He repeated 

In an instead I ripped out his heart holding it in my hand

He coughed up blood his hands immediately went to the hole in his chest he fell onto his knees

I crushed his heart and the blood splattered everywhere I would lick it but I'm not that guy from Dine with the Vampire
