"Hey, jas how's Cora doing?" Kate asked

Honestly speaking I don't know I haven't heard from her since yesterday usually she'd Be down here by now causing problems and destroying things I like

"I don't know" I answered Honestly "Wait so ur saying u haven't checked up on her since u tried to kill her?" I didn't try to kill her

"What's the big deal? She's not dead and she's a werewolf she'll be fine also I didn't try to kill her if I wanted her dead she'd be dead already"

"You are so unbelievable since u won't check up on her I will," Kate said heading upstairs, I don't understand why she's so upset over a dumb mutt

Ugh fine I should at least listen in if she's still breathing

I used my advanced hearing to listen in on the mutt

Her breathing is unable and her heartbeat is quite slow...huh is she dying?

She better not...I like my guest rooms and I don't want dead body stench to be all over it

"Oh my god Cora are you alright?" I heard Kate ask the mutt

ah fine I'll go see what happened to my dog, I slowly started walking up the stairs I'm not in the mood to use my powers today

Maybe cause tmr we need to leave to get Jimps before he gets to the safehouse with the guys we're trying to catch

"I'm fine" the mutt answered

"Who do u think ur trying to fool? Ur clearly not alright" What does she mean the mutts not okay?

Arriving at the door I see Kates's hand on the mutt's back as she sits her up properly

The mutt looks awful she looks like she's dying....that must be an awful feeling can't relate tho

"What's wrong with my dog?" I asked Kate who just glared at me

Huh? What did I do?

"What's the glare for?" She didn't respond and just looked at the dog

"Okay don't worry I'll heal u right up okay," Kate said to the mutt

Forgot to mention kates half witch so she knows healing magic granted there was never a real need for it since we're vampires

She still chooses to dedicate most of her time to learning different types of magic she thinks it'll come in handy one of these days

Cora pov

She knows how to heal? She's a witch? But isn't she a vampire? How can she-

Ahh fuck this stupid dumb ass pain, I shouldn't have tried to use that power not after what happened

"Kate you don't need to do this I'll be fine," I said but she didn't seem to believe me

"shut ur mouth I'm going to heal u then cook u up something nice u didn't eat anything yesterday or today," she said with a smile
