Maya's P.O.V

I can't believe that just happened. Lucas and I kissed. When we kissed I was happy. I didn't even know I felt that way about him. I'm in my room by myself looking around. Lucas left a bit earlier and I want to know what is going through his head. Did he like the kiss? Does he like me? God I'm so confused right now I need to clear my head. I grab my jacket and head out the door. New York is starting to get cold so I grab some coffee and sit at a table inside the coffee place. While I'm drinking my coffee I recognize a brunette that looks like Riley . It is Riley. She turns her head and looks directly at me an then turns away like nothing happened. We were best friends in 7th grade and now we act like strangers. Lucas is really my only friend I have right now and for all I know that could be messed up after kissing him. Riley is still just standing there and its hard so I get up and leave. I'm in the streets again walking when my phone rings. Its Lucas. Oh god what is he going to say. I answer "Hello" I say. "Maya, um I need someone to talk to can you meet me at the park where we were earlier please" He ask me. Somethings different in his tone and it sounds like he really needs help. "Yeah I'll be there in a minute" I tell him then hang up my phone. I throw my coffee cup in the garbage and run to the park. I see Lucas sitting on the park bench and sit next to him. It's silent for a minute. He looks ver at me and I see his face is bruised worse then earlier. "Oh my god Lucas what happedned?" I ask. I can see tears starting up in his eyes. I wrap my hands around his. "He hit me." "who hit you?" "My dad he found out I got in a fight again and he hit me" he explained to me. I don't know what to say. Lucas look so broken. I wrap my arms around his waist and give him a side hug. He turns his body so he is hugging me his face buried into my neck. He crys. I have never seen Lucas cry before it's heart breaking.

A/N this chapter is really bad but I didn't really know what to write but oh well. I have a question . Should I bring a character I made up into the story or should I stick to just the characters from the show. Comment yes or no in the comments. Thanks loves
