The searing heat from the dragon's fiery breath engulfed Trent as he desperately sought to escape the dark cave. The prospect of being roasted alive was the furthest thing from his mind. Cautiously, he waited for the dragon to cease its fire-spewing before making a daring dash for the cave entrance, the colossal creature in relentless pursuit.

The fiery breath lingered, pushing Trent to his limits. As he burst out of the cave into the open air, he couldn't help but shout for his trusted companion.

"Pegasus!" he yelled, just as Pegasus descended to greet him.

Confused but ready for action, Pegasus caught up with Trent's run, questioning, "What's happening?"

"We've stirred a sleeping dragon," Trent panted, the intensity of the chase etched on his face. "And it's not in the mood for a friendly chat!"

"The dragon!" Trent urgently pointed back to the cave entrance, and both of them witnessed the formidable red dragon emerging into the open.

"Trent, hop on!" Pegasus commanded, pausing momentarily to allow Trent to mount onto his back. Once Trent was securely seated, Pegasus resumed his powerful run, the red dragon in relentless pursuit, fiery intent emanating from its every move. Trent, keenly aware of the imminent danger, cautioned Pegasus.

"Pegasus, be careful!" he exclaimed. "The dragon breathes fire!" Pegasus, responding to Trent's warning, spread his majestic wings, and as the red dragon unleashed its scorching flames, they ascended into the sky just in time, narrowly evading the fiery breath that lashed out below.

"Blue, what's your plan? How will you get that dragon's fang?" Pegasus inquired as they soared through the skies, the enraged dragon still visible beneath them.

"I don't need to," Trent replied confidently, his eyes fixed on the horizon.

"W-what do you mean?" Pegasus asked.

"I already got the fang," Trent explained. "I found a pile of dragon bones inside the cave. The kitsune never said I had to take it from an alive dragon, right?"

"If you think about it, your point makes sense," Pegasus agreed. "In that case, let's go back."

"P-Pegasus!" Trent shouted, his voice strained with urgency as the dragon raised its head, preparing to unleash its fiery breath upon them. Pegasus skillfully swerved away from the imminent danger. "We're in trouble," Trent whispered, his eyes wide with concern. "Pegasus, let's go!"

"Understood."

With swift wings, Pegasus carried them away from the perilous pursuit. The red dragon persisted in chasing them through the skies.

"What does that dragon want from us?" Trent asked, trying to make sense of the relentless pursuit.

"Isn't it obvious from the various creatures' bones near the cave?" Pegasus retorted. "It has only one purpose... to make us its meal."

"What should we do?" Trent questioned, his mind racing for a solution.

"We have two options," Pegasus replied with calm determination. "First, confront and fight the dragon. Second, evade and escape. The choice is yours."

"Do we even need to discuss that?" Trent reacted. "Of course, we escape. Let's not waste time."

"If that's the case, do you have any ideas on how we can escape more easily?" Pegasus inquired.

"I will attack using my abilities to bring down the dragon, just like we did with the bakunawa," Trent declared with determination.

"I understand," Pegasus acknowledged.
