"He's a magnificent creature," Mitsuki breathed in awe as she approached Pegasus. "May I touch him?" Glancing at Trent, who nodded quietly, she cautiously extended her hand and stroked Pegasus's sleek flank. "He's so soft!" Mitsuki exclaimed with excitement. Her wonder shifted to curiosity upon noticing the crescent-shaped mark on Pegasus's forehead. "I recognize this marking," she said, turning to Trent. He smiled knowingly as the others gathered to inspect Pegasus' distinctive features.
"This can only mean one thing," Zarian interjected. "Pegasus is now a spirit servant of Trent, correct?" He directed his question to Trent.
"Yes," Trent confirmed. "Pegasus volunteered to be my spirit servant."
"I'm so jealous!" Estrella chimed in. "I wish I had a spirit servant like Pegasus."
"Who would want a spirit servant full of complaints?" Trent mused to himself, a faint smile playing on his lips.
"Head Leader," Pegasus' voice resonated in Trent's mind. "Remember, our minds are connected. I can hear your thoughts."
"Oh, right," Trent replied aloud. "Sorry about that."
"It's okay," Pegasus reassured him. "I understand."
"I can hear your conversation," Adair added. "Remember, members of the Covenant of the Mystic Woods can read minds."
"How did you come to be with Pegasus?" Zarian steered the conversation.
"I found him in the middle dimension," Trent explained.
"The middle dimension?" the group echoed in surprise.
"Yes," Trent affirmed. "It's a realm between the spiritual and mortal worlds."
"Tell us more," Zarian urged.
Trent recounted, "One night, a voice guided me to a portal hidden in Occulus. It transported me to a dimension where I faced trials to become Head Leader."
"What kind of trials?" Estrella eagerly inquired.
"I battled an Ocean Queen and acquired four magical weapons," Trent continued, briefly summoning the weapons to show his friends.
"I can sense their power," Mitsuki remarked in awe.
Trent smiled as the weapons vanished. "After that, I ventured into the ocean for another trial."
"Wait, Pegasus was in the ocean?" Estrella interrupted.
"Yes," Trent nodded. "She transformed to survive, and I rescued her."
"That's incredible," Zarian exclaimed. "But coming from you, I believe it."
Trent chuckled softly. "There's more. I also had to obtain a feather from a garuda's wing, a mushroom of longevity, and a dragon's tooth."
"A dragon?" Mitsuki gasped.
"Yes, it was quite an adventure," Trent confirmed.
"And now you're gearing up for battle?" Zarian shifted the topic.
"Yes," Trent nodded. "We're gathering resources to defend against Veronika's army."
"Let's discuss this over lunch," Professor Cornella interrupted, approaching them. "We have much to prepare."
"Of course, sir," Trent responded, turning to follow the professor.
"We'll continue this later," Zarian said, leading the group toward the dining hall.
After lunch, the Elder Witches convened. "We've secured ingredients from the West," Professor Cornella informed Trent. "Now, we must brew potions for the upcoming battle."
