Trent couldn't believe Hayden and Hunter were there. Even more astonishing was the fact that despite what had happened to them, Hayden still managed to exude pride. Memories of the incident involving the two brothers immediately flooded Blue's mind. Why on earth did they switch bodies? This was certainly not the outcome Trent had anticipated when making the oath. All Trent desired was for Hayden to experience a temporary transformation, to make Hayden understand what it felt like to be in his shoes. The idea of the body swap seemed unfathomable. However, regardless of what had occurred and the reasons behind it, Trent felt powerless to change the situation. Blue's focus now was solely on seeking retribution against Hayden.
Retreating to the seclusion of his room, Trent spent the entire day locked away. The argument he just had with the two brothers had drained his energy and left him feeling depleted. His moment of solitude was disrupted when a knock echoed from the door. Trent reluctantly set aside the book he had been reading and got out of bed to open it. Melissa's concerned face greeted him.
"Blue, why aren't you getting ready?" his aunt inquired. "Don't you have classes in Occulus tonight?"
"I'm not going to Occulus right now," Trent replied.
Surprised, Melissa asked, "Why not?"
"Because I don't feel like it," Trent explained.
"Are you feeling unwell?" she asked, worry etched on her face.
"Perhaps, I'm just tired from the workload at Occulus and Saint Anthony." Trent was just give an excuse, unwilling to reveal the truth about the curse and its consequences on Hayden and Hunter. He knew he would be scolded and would face severe consequences if Occulus discovered his violation of the covenants' law.
"Is that so?" Melissa responded. "Rest for now, and I will inform Sora about your condition."
"Thank you," Trent replied. "I will return to Saint Anthony tomorrow."
Melissa nodded. "Take some rest."
As the door closed, Trent made his way back to bed and resumed reading, unaware that sleep would soon overtake him.
When Trent awoke, the room was bathed in the morning light, and the cheerful melodies of birds filled the air. Casting his gaze towards the wall clock opposite his bed, Trent realized they had only an hour before his class at Saint Anthony. If he was to travel through the public bus, it would take approximately six hours to reach the Men's Dormitory.
But Trent was a witch, possessing a range of abilities beyond the comprehension of ordinary people. He got out from bed and prepared. Ensuring his bag contained all the things he needed, Trent traversed the hallway and then went down to the kitchen. Sora and Melissa were engaged in a serious conversation, but Trent paid no heed and began eating the breakfast prepared for them
"Aunt Sora, Aunt Melissa, I'll be going now," Trent bid them farewell after finishing his meal. Both of his aunts mumbled a brief response, preoccupied with their discussion. Trent headed towards the pantry's door without hesitation.
As he stepped through the door, the initial darkness gave way to a brightened space, and voices filled the air. Trent found themselves inside an empty lecture room within the School of Architecture. Turning around, he opened the door behind him, and the noise from the hallway grew louder.
Upon exiting the lecture room, most of the students turned their attention towards Blue. The cacophony of their conversations momentarily ceased, replaced by hushed whispers and fleeting glances in Blue's direction.
Trent walked calmly, navigating his way to his first class. He was aware that the silent conversations and gossips revolved around the events that unfolded between Hayden and himself during the College of Architecture's Victory Party.
