Maria walked the halls of the Steel Toe Compound as she had just watched the spar between Raktos, a prodigy of the arcane, and Valiant the Bladed Wind. Who was a teacher at the compound who only taught promising spell-swords. She sighed wishing she was a spell-sword as Maria was but a simple warrior, for she couldn't cast magic. However she was top of her class, in all things she could win a sparring match in mere minutes and kept her sword and armor in top condition, polishing and cleaning them every day for an hour, and she was happy. That way though she wished for a more exciting life, she was content to learn all she could and be the best warrior to ever live. Then while she was thinking she walked into someone, “S-Sorry!” She said, “I didn't mean to-" she said as she looked up to see Raktos. “It's alright.” Said the black eyed prodigy, “It happens.”
Maria simply nodded and got up, then Raktos said, “Wait, you're Maria, right?” Maria was star struck that Raktos knew her. Y-yes im maria how do you know of me ? Well, I was told that I was going to be working with you during the team evaluation. Really Maria said softly blushing. Yes i heard we will also be working with Shaylock The one know as. The best blacksmith in the compound
