It's been a month since news of their dating has gone out to the public.

In this month, they've developed a routine. They meet up once or twice a week for their weekly dates, somewhere relatively public so people could see them and reinforce the fact that they're dating.

But lately, Chaewon's been getting more and more frustrated at Yunjin's uncooperativeness in regards to their act.

Some days its fine, Yunjin manages to smile or even laugh at Chaewon's attempts to lessen the tense air between them. Other days, she completely shuts her down. Unwilling to respond, walls brought up to an extreme high.

And she gets it, of course she does.

But considering that they have to do this for god knows how long, Chaewon atleast wants the soloist to be able to communicate with her properly.

Chaewon knows shes at the brink of snapping, soon arriving to that point where it all just comes simmering up and she doesn't want it to get there simply because Chaewon's not sure how Yunjin or herself would take it.

She only hopes Yunjin manages to open herself up in order to prolongue this dreaded talk.

---

Yunjin's comeback is next week, which also means less time for Yunjin to go on their weekly 'dates' due to her packed schedule.

(It's news that Chaewon should be happy about but the thought of not seeing the whisker dimpled girl for periods of time bothers her more than it should.)

She gets Yunjin's text in the middle of the day as she leaves campus.

yunjin: hey, u busy?

chaewon: hey! nope, i just
left campus

yunjin: ok, ill meet u at the park near
there

Chaewon arrives at the park, it's the same place where she saw Yunjin again for the first time in years.

She looks around to see the girl seated on the same bench that she sat on all those weeks ago.

The brunette walks up to her and takes the empty seat next to her, "Hey."

"Hey."

Chaewon lets herself lean back against the bench, "So what are we doing today?"

"We'll just hang around here for an hour or so?" Yunjin asks.

"Okay," Chaewon nods.

A few minutes of silence passes between them.

"How was your day?" She tries to bridge the gap between them.

"It was fine," Yunjin says.

Chaewon holds back a sigh. It's one of those days.

"Oh yeah? What did you do?"

Yunjin lets out a short sigh, "Just practice."

"Oh."

The tense atmosphere is back at full force.

"How was your day?" Yunjin asks, to which Chaewon straightens up to respond.

"It was good! I finally finished the painting I started back when you came onto campus! It's at the booth drying right now but it came out great!"

When Yunjin left campus that day, Chaewon only managed to get the base layer on. Doing slow movements on purpose to hide what she was painting from Yunjin, not knowing how the soloist would react if she knew what the outcome would look like.
