Draco sat in the common room of the Slytherin dormitory finishing his potions essay. His bloodshot eyes skimmed the pages of his notes and books, trying to come up with something to fill the last three inches of parchment he had left, but his brain refused to think. The overload of homework, due to the O.W.L.s, was shriveling his brain. It was as if he had a bubble around his brain, deflecting every thought that tried to enter. The sky outside steadily grew darker until the only light left was from the crackling fire on the opposite side of the room. His neatly combed blond hair fell into his eyes as his head fell into the palms of his hands. He rubbed his eyes and sighed loud enough to make Crabbe and Goyle, his two friends, look up at him.
"Almost finished, Draco?" Goyle asked, his eyes sharing the same red tint as Dracos'.
"Of course not, you twit." Draco spat. The lateness of the night was getting to him, making him more irritable then usual.
"I've finished. Just adding the finishing touches!" Crabbe said happily.
"Hand it here, Crabbe," Draco sneered. "Let me see what rubbish you came up with." Crabbe handed over his essay and Draco feverishley started copying down what Crabbe had written. "None of this is right!" Draco shouted and slammed his quill down.
"I bet it's better than whatever Potter and his friends came up with." Goyle said as he and Crabbe started snorting with laughter.
Instantly, something overcame Draco , and he slammed his fist down. "Do not  speak of Harry Potter!" His face was red and his fists were balled so tight that his knuckles turned red.
          "Dr-Draco?" Crabbe said quietly.
Draco gasped, realizing what he just said. "I just don't want to talk about him at the moment. It's too late, and I simply don't have the patience." Draco said smoothly, trying to collect himself. "The... the stupid git." He added. Crabbe and Goyle laughed.
"I'm off to bed." Draco said emotionlessly, collecting his parchment and quills, stuffing them in his bad hastily, and rushing upstairs. He didn't allow himself to think until he was up in his bed, completely enclosed and hidden under his sheets, the hangings closed around his bed. His mind wandered off to the Gryffindor tower. Was Harry sleeping? He pictured him lying in bed, sound asleep. Or was he up as well, struggling to finish his essay?

A tired looking Harry sat alone in the common room. His hair was tousled in every direction, extra messy. His green eyes glared through his glasses, his head resting between his cheeks. The room was dimly lit by the fire, and everyone was gone, fast asleep. Draco was there with Harry, sharing the loveseat. The warmth of the fire radiated all over their bodies and quickly overtook them. Harry leaned closer to Draco, his head resting behind Dracos' shoulder and his neck. Draco draped an arm lazily over his shoulders.
"I'm tried." Harry mumbled into Dracos' cheek.
"Go to sleep." Draco purred, pulling Harry closer.
"Promise not to leave?" Harry gave a small laugh and smiled.
          "Never." Draco stated proudly.
"Good." Harry curled up into a ball and moved so he was now entirely on Dracos' lap. His breathing slowed gradually, showing that Harry had fallen asleep. Draco smiled. He felt happy here, cuddling with Harry Potter. Slowly, the embers of the fire died out and Draco got up to get a blanket. He carefully set Harry aside, and walked to the opposite wall, where blankets were folded up.
"Draco?" A sleepy voice called from behind him. Draco turned around, expecting to see Harry, but was shocked when he saw Crabbe, Goyle, and several other Slytherin boys.

Draco jerked awake. He looked around, he was no longer in the Gryffindor common room, but in his bed. Quietly, he got out and went to get dressed. Did he dream about Harry Potter? Did he dream about sleeping with Harry Potter? And he was happy? His face twisted at the thought, and he fiercely brushed his teeth, trying to get the dream out of his mind.

"Morning, Draco," said some Slytherins as he walked through the common room, to the dining hall. When he got there, he quickly sat down and grabbed for a piece of toast. He was still wondering about that dream. He glanced a peek at the Gryffindor table and saw Harry laughing along with Ron and Hermione. He didn't like Harry. Not at all, they were enemies. They despised each other. Imagine what his father would say if he knew he was dreaming about Harry! He shook his head and decided not to think of it. He stayed up too late, it wouldn't happen again. He wouldn't let it.
"There you are!" Crabbe and Goyle cheered and sat on both sides of Draco. "You just disappeared this morning!"
"It is called waking up." Draco said, looking off towards the Gryffindor table. Crabbe started going off about a crazy dream he had. If only  you knew, Draco thought.
"That's insane!" Pansy squealed. Draco ignored them all. He was busy staring at Harry. Why did he dream about him? He did not like him, obviously. Or did he? He remembered how nice it felt sitting next to him by the fire. Dozing off together, not a care in the world...
"Draco!" All his friends were staring at him.
"What are you lot all staring at?" Draco said impatiently.
"You looked odd. Staring off towards the Gryffindor table and all." Crabbe said.
"The Gryffindors? Why would I look there? Honestly Crabbe! It's like I'm sitting in a bloody oaf sandwich." Draco muttered. Pansy Parkinson shriked with laughter from across the table. Draco rolled his eyes. Occasionally, he would glance at Harry, but never long enough for him to be caught again. His mouth was pulled back into a small, relaxed smile, and his thick, black hair kept falling into his lively green eyes. Why couldn't he just stop thinking of him?
