The next morning, Draco awoke, glad that he did not have any dreams of Harry. This put him in an overall good mood, and he even went to breakfast with his friends, for once, and not alone. Breakfast seemed to taste extra delicious, and everything his friends said was hilarious; he didn't even mind when Pansy squealed a high pitch shriek after every joke. He didn't look over at the Gryffindor table once. Draco couldn't even believe  that he thought he liked Harry for a second. He was obviously lacking sleep, and now that he got a great nights rest, he was back to normal. The first class of the day was Potions, and he was glad. Professor Snape always picked on Harry, and Draco couldn't wait to see how Potter would humiliate himself today!

When Draco walked in to Potions, he saw that in big letters on the board, it said 'Draught Of Peace' with directions underneath it. Snape was standing in front of the board with his arms crossed, waiting for everyone to enter the classroom. Once they did, he raised his arms and said "Silence class, silence! Today we will be making the Draught of Peace potion. The Draught of Peace is a potion which relieves anxiety and agitation, and since it is an advanced potion, and several students whom I do not trust to make correctly, therefore wasting my ingredients, will be paired with someone who has an idea what they're doing. With that being said, here are the pairings." He moved to a foot to his left, and behind him was a chart of students partners. Draco was paired with Harry. "Everyone whose name is on the left, you have the power and are in control of your partner. Everyone on the right, I expect you to listen to your paring, or ten points shall be taken from your house. With that, begin."
While Draco was walking over to Harrys' table, Harry did not break his stare he had connecting his eyes to Dracos' eyes, then his hair, then back to his eyes, smirking. Draco noticed, for the first time, that Harry had green eyes. But they weren't just green, they had a dark-brown rim around the iris and a bit of gold-orange around the pupil. Inside the main iris, it was awash in a balance of yellow and pale-blue that evens out to a brilliant pale green. They looked like a magical, ominous, swirling potion in a black cauldron.
"Mornin', Dracs," Harry said, his eyes glistening and playful.
Draco felt his face turned bright red, and he didn't know why. "Don't waste my time, Potter. Let's make this potion." He said annoyedly.
"So," Harry leaned in towards Draco, "since you have all the power," he said, dragging out the word 'power,' "what should I do first?"
"Get me the powdered moonstone..." Draco was embarrassed. He could feel his face getting redder and redder. Did Harry notice? Draco felt as if harry could see through him, straight through all his insults, straight through everything down to that dream. The dream. Those ominous green eyes bored holes though his head. "Okay add it until the potion is green, then stir until its blue." Draco squeaked.
"What shade of green?" Harry teased. Like your eyes, Draco thought.

Twenty  minutes later, and everything seemed to be going fine, until they added porcupine quills and the potion turned red instead of turquoise.
"No, no something is wrong. This is supposed to be turquoise." Draco said angrily.
"I've been doing everything you said." Harry said.
"Obviously not!" Draco screamed in Harrys face. Somehow, barely anyone noticed, and those who did went back to working. "This is your fault! All your fault! If I get marked down points for-"
"Calm down," Harry said quietly. He grabbed Dracos' hand and squeezed it lightly. Instantly, everything changed. Draco did not know what it was, but he felt bad for saying all those rude insults. He wanted to grab Harrys' shoulders and hug him. He wanted to tangle his hands in Harrys' black messy hair, to stare into his exotic green eyes.  Draco opened his mouth to say something, he didn't know what, but something, when Professor Snape walked by.
"This potion clearly isn't brewed correctly. Tell me, Mr. Malfoy, where did Mr. Potter go wrong?" Snape sneered, curling his lips.
"I- I'm not sure, sir. I believe it actually was my fault," Draco said quietly. He quickly risked a glance at Harry and saw that his mouth was hanging open.
"Is that so?" Snape said, clearly shocked. Helookrd as if he didn't know what to do, he couldn't possibly take points away from Draco, but when he was denying that Harry did  wrong...? He shook his head. "No house points will be taken, but detentions for both of you. Tomorrow night." And Snape quickly rushed away.
Draco gave Harry a stare that said 'don't talk about it,' and gathered the ingredients. "Let's start over." He said shyly.

--

The halls were silent as Draco rushed down to Snapes' office. He tried to speed up his pace, since he was already late, but unluckily, tripped on the last step and fell to his knees. He heard more footsteps growning louder, obviously Harrys', and tried to stand up again, but it was too late. Harry flew down the steps and tripped over Dracos' waist, and a loud crack was heard.
"Ow!" Harry said, cupping his nose. The bridge was bent in different angles, and blood gushed everywhere.
"What is all this ruccus?" A very angry voice called. Snape came rising out from the stairwell. His eyes seemed to turn red of anger at the sight. "Potter," he said through gritted teeth, "go down to Madam Pomfreys. When you are fixed, come back down to finish your detention. Draco, go with to make sure he doesn't skip out, and then you can go to the dining hall. Taking Potter is already enough of a punishment." He turned on his heel and walked away.
Harry furrowed his eyebrows. "He's so unfair."
"Let's go," Draco said, getting up and holding a hand out to Harry. Harry looked nervous, as if Draco would pull away at the last second, but hastily took it and pulled himself up. He gave a small nod and let go of Draco's hand, but his fingers lingered next to Draco's, occasionally bumping into each other, the whole way up to Madam Pomfreys.

"Oh dear, what in the name of Merlin happened to you?" Madam Pomfrey said, cradling Harrys' face with her palms.
"I was going down the stairs, and I tripped." Harry said flusteredly. "Over Draco." He added, casting his green eyes towards Draco.
"Well, well. Boys please be more careful. Here dear," she said and tapped Harrys' nose. Harry stretched his hand towards the bridge of his nose and groped around, a small smile displayed on his lips.
       "Thank you, Madam Pomfrey."
Madam Pomfrey gave a forced smile and walked away. Harrg stood up and grabbed Draco's hand again, this time more forcefully.
"Can we go up to the Gyrdffindor tower? I would like to clean up a bit, if you don't mind."
