Emma was shocked. My twin brothers mortal enemy, like me? I'm not even that pretty. And I'm in Gryffindor.
Just then a handsome guy bumped into Emma. "Sorry! Your names Emma right?" Cedric Diggory asked.
Emma blushed profusely. "Oh no problem!" Emma stated. "Well I'll see you later!"
"Yeah!" Cedric said a bit confused. When a girl likes him they'd always wait for him to say goodbye before. He liked this about her, she didn't hesitate to say the things that's on her mind.
"Are you ok Cedric?" Emma looked a bit worried while she was saying this.
"Yeah I'm fine!"
"Ok that's good!"
"I'll see you later Emma!"
"Yeah I guess you will!" She walked away, oblivious to the fact that Cedric looked even more shocked than the last time.
Why is she so confident? That's more like the boys job to be confident. I like her attitude! It's more of my type!
He walked away to the grounds with a spring in his step.
Emma went to the grounds as well, surprised by what just happened.
Why was he so surprised? Maybe he doesn't know me that good and he didn't know that was my attitude. Well I need to be more focused on one other thing, that my brothers enemy likes me!
She then got to the grounds and stationed herself between Harry and Ginny.
She was pondering the whole Draco Malfoy situation when Ginny noticed that she was quieter than usual. She was quiet when she was talking to other people for the first time but never seemed to shut up when she was a person she was friends with, or she liked. Her comfort zone was talking.
"Are you okay Emma?" Ginny asked worried.
"I'll tell you everything later! I can't explain everything here, especially with Harry here."
"Okay but will Hermione be with us?" Ginny asked.
"What do you think is the answer?" Emma asked with her signature evil grin.
"Ugh Emma you're so annoying sometimes."
"I know." Emma said simply. Ginny was used to this answer for too long, if something was wrong with Emma, she wouldn't say 'I know'. This is how Ginny checked if Emma was very sad or serious.
"You should know by now Emma."
They were waiting for a few minutes when Dumbledore suddenly called out. "Unless I'm very much mistaken the delegation from Beauxbatons approaches".
Emma silently snorted. Not a lot of people were bothered by Dumbledore's way of speaking, but to Emma it was a bit funny how he used sophisticated words.
"Where?" Many students asked, looking all around
"There!" A random sixth year shouted.
It looks like a big carriage, it looks like it's built for a person like Hagrid.
She was correct. A boy jumped off the carriage and unfolded a pair of golden steps. He jumped back while a shining high heeled black shoe came from the carriage. That shoe was the size of a children's sled.
Her mouth dropped open. She had never seen someone like this before except for Hagrid. All her students came from the carriage. This explained the huge carriage and the humongous horses.
Dumbledore invited them inside and they accepted. Then Durmstrang came.
Emma was shocked to see Viktor Krum coming out of the Durmstrang boat.
Wait, is that Viktor Krum? I didn't know he was in school!
"Hello Igor!" Dumbledore said ecstatic
"Hello Dumbledore!"
"Lets go in for the feast now!" Dumbledore said.
The whole school entered hogwarts and they went into the great hall.
Dumbledore let them eat in peace but stood up to tell them what the fateful judge of the triwizard champions are.
"Behold, the Goblet of Fire!"
A huge, worn out goblet was in a big trunk that filch had brought out moments before.
"Whoever wishes to enter the tournament, must write their name and school clearly on the parchment and throw it into the goblet. We have made some changes to this years tournament, only people of age, or 17 years old and older can enter the tournament."
"Aw!" Emma heard fred and george shout.
"I'm sorry but no shouting is going to change that rule!" Dumbledore shouted over all the angry complaints of the crowd.
"Now everyone better get a good turn in for tommorow! Good night!" Dumbledore said with a final tone.
