EMMA'S POV

"Hey Charles!" I said running up to him and hugging him.

"I'm waiting for my surprise!" Charlie said in a sing-song voice, holding out a hand.

"Yes of course kind sir." I responded, slapping the parchment in his hand.

"A piece or parchment?" Charlie asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Not just any piece of parchment, a special parchment, that helps us talk wherever you are." I said, bowing.

Charlie caught me mid-bow and held me upside-down. "CHARLES SEPTIMUS WEASLEY PUT ME DOWN NOW!" I shouted.

Charlie laughed before putting me down. I slapped him on his shoulder in a playful way. Apparently it was hard since he said, "Ouch."

"Revenge." I said, rubbing my hands together. "Mwahahaa." I laughed in such a good impression of an evil witch that Charlie started rolling on the floor.

I helped him up and we started dueling the dragon. Even though it was extremely dangerous dueling these dragons, I actually felt like I belonged here.

I was facing the Hungarian Horntail's big face. "Stupefy!" I shouted with everyone else. She fell down slowly and I grinned.

Suddenly her talon came to my arm and scratched my whole arm.

I fell down in shock and hurt. I saw flashes of Charlie, the unconscious dragon, and other dragon keeper friends I made. I finally heard Charlie's griefed voice before everything went to black.

I woke up in the hospital wing. Great! Second time in the hospital wing this week! I opened my eyes to see Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Charlie around my bed.

"What happened? Where is Harry?" I said, jumping up.

"Ms. Potter, everything is fine. Harry is not here because he doesn't know about the first task, and if we called him here, he would probably guess." Dumbledore said in his calming voice.

I gave Charlie a strong hug and when I pulled away, I felt a sharp pain in my left forearm. I looked there and gasped. It looked extremely maimed and gruesome. Charlie took my hand and studied it carefully. "It looks like it will never heal fully, and there will be faint scars." I sobbed into Charlie's shoulder.

Professor McGonagall tapped my shoulder and I turned to her. "Yes?" I said, wiping my cheek.

She handed me a bottle of concealer. I gaped at her before also giving her a gentle hug. "Thank you so much, this saved me."

"Um, what exactly is that?" Charlie asked me, pointing to the bottle of concealer.

"Concealer, its a muggle makeup that covers up things." I said, but Charlie still looked confused. "It could cover up my scar?"

"Ohhhhh." Charlie said, and I laughed.

I left the hospital wing and realized that today was the first task!

"No no no no no no no no." I whispered as I ran to the common room since it was the end of classes.

No one was there.

I ran over to the courtyard to see crowds of people cheering as Ludo Bagman announced for Cedric to go out of the tent where I suspected Harry was.

I burst in to see Harry turning greener by the second. "Harry!" I said, running in and hugging him.

"I'm so glad you're here, I feel horrible." He said, quietly, trying not to throw up.

"Hey, hey." I said, grabbing him shoulders. "You'll be fine, just be careful and keep your eyes on the prize."

"Its dragons! And look at the one I got. I heard Hagrid saying that this is the worst one." He said, holding up a tiny model of his dragon, the Horntail.

I gulped. Just a few hours ago she gave me this permanent scar, and I didn't want Harry to experience the same thing.

"Just keep your eyes on the prize. I'm gonna go and check out Cedrics attempt for like 2 minutes and I'm coming back. Just don't puke, okay?" I said, flashing a smile at him.

I left and Harry resumed his sulking.

I took my place next to Charlie and watched anxiously.

"Go Cedric!" I shouted, and accidentally made it into a chant.

After his attempt, I went to him and told him that he did great. Then I rushed over to Harry in the tent, who looked even happier to see me then before, and I kept hyping him up.

When it time for Harry to leave, he felt good, and I left to see him.

(Skip, cuz I'm too lazy to write it all)

"Harry, you did amazing!" I said, hugging him.

"Thanks to you." He said, modestly.

Hey guys, I've been thinking that I don't have a lot of plans for this fanfic, so it means I'm probably gonna quit this story and focus on the other one. I'm so sorry, but if you want to support me, it would help me a lot if you read my other story. Im so sorry again. Have a great day!
