Chapter Nine

*Lilly's P.O.V*

"James must of did something huge to piss this guy off," I say looking at the information. Spencer stood next to me.

"Or it's something he wants," Spencer says. I looked at him.

"Okay what are you guys getting to?" Rossi asked.

"We thought this guy went after James because he did something to piss him off. What if it's not that? What if it's about what he has," I say. 

"Then why would he get someone to come to your place at three in the morning, just to warn you?" J.J asked me.

"Because. It's his game. He wants us to be prepared," Morgan says. Spencer looked at me.

"Lilly, was there anything your parents gave you when you were really young?" He asked me. I thought for a minute.

"Yes I do," I say. I looked around and saw cameras. He was watching us. "I can't say though."
"Why not?" Hotch asked.

"Look," I say. They got confused. 

"What?" Rossi asked.

"Look," I say again. Soon they all looked and saw them. I saw their reactions and we all became quiet. "I'm going back to my place, and i think you guys should go home and get some rest." They knew what I was doing. Giving a message. "Spend time with your family. We will never find him." I walked out and Spencer followed me.

"What now?" He whispered as we walked to the elevator. Soon everyone was with us.
"He knows where I live, so we have to go somewhere else," I say. We all got into the elevator.

"My place?" Reid asks as we got in.

"Meet you there in ten," Hotch says. We nodded and went down.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I was already at Spencer's apartment and we were waiting for the rest.

"Why do you think he put the cameras in?" Spencer asked me as we sat on the couch.

"He thinks I would say it out loud," I say. "The code."

"What are you talking about?" He asked me. Soon there was a knock at the door. Everyone came in.
"This guy wants the code that James and I are hiding," I say. "It's a long story, but I am sure I can trust you guys."

*Flashback*

"I was only six when I got the code from my mom. She wanted to set me down and talk about it. She was that when she was around my age that she and my father had to keep a big secret and now it was mine and James turn to know. There was an organisation that pull my mother and father in called the Monster.(Made it up). It was where all the codes would be, and mom and dad got their codes, and I guess they knew Justin was coming so they decided to tell us.

Anyway this code and either protect the whole world or destroy it. It really depends who has it. I am not sure how it works. They wouldn't get into it a whole lot, but they told us never to expose the code that they told us to anyone. Only if it was important, or if they needed it."

*Flashback over*

"So your parents gave you a job to keep this as a secret all these years?" Hotch asked. I nodded.
"Yes, and if both of our codes get into the wrong hands it could hurt everyone," I say. "Mom and dad told us about a guy never to trust but I could never remember his name. If I do, I'll tell you guys."

"You have to give us that code," Morgan says.

"No Morgan I can't. I took that code to my death, and if I told anyone I could be in a shit load of trouble," I say.

"But your in trouble if you don't tell us," J.J says.

"I'll take that chance then anything else," I say. "I didn't only just promise my dad and mom, but an organisation that could hurt me if I said anything."

"Well right now we have to keep you safe," Hotch says. "Reid do you mind if Lilly stays here?" 

"I don't mind," He says.

"For now we have to find somewhere else, just until we get those camera's out," Hotch says. We nodded. "We have to go home and get some rest, in the morning we can figure this out." Everyone nodded and walked out. I lied on the bed and Spencer lied next to me.

"Why me?" I asked. Spencer kissed the top of my forehead.

"Don't worry, if this person wants to hurt you, he has to go through all of us to get to you," He says. He pulls me close to him and we kissed. I pulled away. 

"I am going to get ready for bed," I said. He nodded and I pecked his lips once more before I got up and went into the bathroom. Once I got up, I went to the bathroom and got dressed into my red PJ's and my red slippers. I put my hair up in a bun and walked out to see Spencer lying in bed. I climbed into bed. I was on top of Spencer. I kissed him and he smiled. He wrapped his arms around me and we made out. Soon I let go and lied next to him.

"You know I love you right?" Spencer says.

"Yes and I love you too," I said. Spencer kissed the top of my head.

"Night Lilly," He says.

"Night Spence," I say. Soon my eyes got heavier and heavier, until I fell asleep. With Spencer beside me.

*Jame's P.O.V*

I watched as Jackson looked at the cameras.

"She knows," He says.

"Of course she knows. She's smart," I say.

"Yes and she will never know when I am coming," He says. "She is dumb. Dumber than you."

"She isn't dumb," I yelled.

"Well she won't know I am coming," He says smiling.
