Chapter Six

*Next Day*

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I woke up and remember that James and Spencer were staying over. I got up and got dressed into something casual and let Spencer and James sleep until it was almost time to go. I walked downstairs and got myself a cup of coffee. I sat down and started drinking. Soon I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head set on my shoulders.

"Hey Lilly," Spencer says. Spencer went over and made some coffee.

"Hey Spence," I say. Soon James came down.

"Hey," He says.

"I was trying to let you guys sleep," I say.

"Didn't work," James says, going for some coffee. I smiled and Spencer joined me. 

"Did you know," Spencer says as he sat down.

"Oh no," James says sitting with us. I laughed.

"That tea has less caffeine then coffee," He says. "Coffee has 40mg while tea only has 11mg. Tea is usually healthier for you than coffee because of how much caffeine is in it."

"Yet tea can't wake us up as much as coffee does," I say. They laughed. Soon Spencer got a text.

"We all have to go in," He says. I drank the rest of my coffee and got my messenger bag. I waited for the boys and once they were done getting ready and done with their coffee they were ready. We walked out of the house and to the car.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

We finally got to the BAU and we went into the conference room. James, Spencer and I all sat down.
"Okay. Reid and Johnson I want you to start on the profile, J.J and Morgan will go to the ally, and Rossi and I will talk to James about how this all went down. James I want you to give Garcia of all the guys or girls you came in contact with," Hotch says. We nod and James goes with Garcia to her lair. J.J and Morgan leave to the ally James told them about, and Hotch and Rossi were getting ready to interview James. Spencer and I were sitting in the conference room. We had all the information on the white board, and a map for Spencer. He walked up to it.

"What is it Spence?" I asked him.

"Well. You see your house is here," He says pointing. He got a marker and circled it. "Then there is James, which is two blocks from where you live." He circled the place. "My place here." He circled his place. "And then there is the ally which is maybe two miles out from your house. And closer to James." I looked at the it, and got up.

"Well there is something out there that means something to the unsub, and I think James knows," I say. "He wouldn't move out here, just for me." Spencer nods. Soon someone walked in. He had black hair and blue eyes.

"Hello I am Johnny Fox. From the Las Vegas police," The man says. "We have heard that there is someone after James Johnson in this neighbourhood, and we think he might be from Las Vegas and we would like to help. Where is your chief?" 

"I'll go get him," Spencer says walking out. I went back looking at the map.

"What are you looking at miss?" Johnny asked me. Something just doesn't feel right with this guy. Popping up at the right time.

"Well we are thinking that there is something between these two places," I say, pointing at James house and the ally. 

"Like a dead body or something?" Johnny asked curious. 

"We don't know. But if it is something like that. We need to ask James that," I say. 

"Well I am sure that there is nothing there," He says. I looked at him. I knew something felt off about him.

"Mr. Fox," Spencer says. He turns and smiles. "This is Aaron Hotchner our chief." Johnny walked up to him, and shook his hand.

"Pleasure to meet you. We should talk in private," He says.

"Okay, lets go to my office," Hotch says walking away with Johnny. Once they were gone I looked at Spencer.

"Something feels... Off about that guy," I say.

"What do you mean?" He asked me.

"Well popping up when this case hasn't gone viral yet, and when you left he asked me what I was doing and I told him there was something there, and he gotten very curious. But before you walked in he said quote 'Well I am sure that there is nothing there.' Quote," I say.

"Well I am sure it's nothing Lilly. I mean you have been right before. But maybe it was nothing," Spencer says walking over to me.

"Yeah," I say. He pecked my lips and we went back to work.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I sat there spinning in my chair. Thinking. Spencer was looking at the map.

"Okay we have to find out what is hiding out there," Spencer says.

"It could be nothing Spence," I say stopping my chair from spinning.

"Yeah and it could be a body or something this unsub wants and we could be one step closer," He says.

"Okay, when Hotch and Rossi is done we will tell them what our gut thinks," I say. He nods and sits next to me.

"I know this is random, but have you ever thought about our future?" Spencer asked me. I looked at him.

"All the time Spence," I say. "Why?" 

"Well there is something I have been wanting to ask you for a while," He says.

"What is it?" I asked him. He was about to say something when Garcia came in.

"Lilly get the rest of the team. Your girl genius has done it again," Garcia says. I nodded.

"Talk later Spence?" I asked him. He smiles and nodded.

"Yeah," He says. I pecked his lips and left.

*Spencer's P.O.V*

I watched her as she walked away.

"Were you going to ask her the question?" Garcia asked me.

"What question?" I asked her, turning towards her.

"Well you know. The 'get down on one knee and ask to spend the rest of her left with you' question," She says. I smiled.

"Yeah, but before you came in, I thought about it, and it shouldn't be while we are doing a case," I say.

"Well Boy Genius you have to pop the question soon, because once you are off that horse there is no going back," She says. I looked at her and saw everyone coming in.

Well I hope that was good. Spencer is trying to ask that question, but he keeps getting interrupted. Awe so cute. Anyway I will update later and I am sorry I didn't update yesterday, but I was spending time with my dad and my computer crashed half the time so yeah. Happy Father's Day from me. Even though I am a day late lol.
