Chapter Eighteen

(So the song I have picked out is Million Ways by Shawn Hook. Meaning Spencer is trying to find a million ways to show Lilly that she is worth it)

*Next Day*

*Lilly's P.O.V*

We all on the jet heading back to Virginia.I was sitting in the seat next to Spencer when Morgan came over and gave me my coffee. I smiled and took a sip of it.

"So how are you feeling Lilly?" Rossi asked.

"So much better, knowing that he can't hurt me," I said. They smile.

"So what are you going to do when you get back?" Morgan asked me.

"Rest," I said. Spencer smiles.

"Well you will be able to rest for the next few days with Spencer," Hotch says. "If we need any of you on a case we will call." We nodded. Soon everyone went back to what they were doing. James and Miles were resting. Morgan was listening to music. Rossi, J.J, and Hotch were talking. Garcia was knitting and Spencer and I were sitting holding hands. Soon he raises our hands and he kisses my knuckles.

"I am so happy that you are safe," He whispers. 

"I am too," I whisper back. I pecked his lips and went to get another sip of my coffee.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

We all got off the jet. Miles went back home to see his finance London. James went back to his house, and the rest of us went back to the BAU. Since Morgan was driving, Garcia was in front with him and Spencer and I were in the back. We didn't say much, but it was nice. We got to the BAU and we all walked in. We got to the elevator and Rossi pressed the up button. The elevator came and we all got in. I pressed the floor six button and we went up. Once we heard the ding we all got out and went in. I went to my desk and went through the files very quick. I saw Spencer was done before me.

"You want a drive home?" He asked me. I nodded. I grabbed my messenger bag and we started walking towards the elevator when I saw a little girl coming out of one of the rooms. I stopped walking.

"Who is that?" I asked Spencer. He turns and looks at the little girl.

"That is Mary. Jackson was her father," Spencer says. I kept looking at the little girl.

"I-I didn't know," I said.

"It's okay," He said.

"Where is her mother?" I asked him.

"Her mother passed away when she was only one," He says.

"So she has no one?" I asked him. He nods slowly.

"I think she is going to a adoption centre or something like that," He says. I licked my lips.

"Spencer, why don't we adopt her. Since she kinda knows you and the team," I said. Spencer smiles.

"Are you sure?" He asked me. I nodded. He smiles. Soon Mary came to the elevator.

"Spencer?" She asked him. He got down to her size.

"Yeah?" He asked her.

"Is my daddy dead? Because if he is, he deserved it," She says. 

"Yeah, he is. And why do you think that?" He asked her.

"He was a bad man. I never looked up to him as a hero. I always looked at him as a bad guy," She says. She looked at me.

"Who is this?" She asked him. I got down to her size too.

"This is my girlfriend, Lilly," He says. "Lilly this is Mary."

"Nice to meet you," I said.

"Nice to meet you too Lilly," She says.

"Mary," I said.

"Yes," She says.

"How would you like to become our daughter?" I asked her. Her face lid up.

"Would I ever!" She says. She hugs the both of us. We both smile.

"Well we have to go fill out some forms, you want to come?" Spencer asked. She nods her head. Spencer picks her up and we got into the elevator. 

*Couple Days Later*

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I woke up in my room. I saw Spencer wasn't there and there was a note on my night stand. I picked it up and saw it was from Spencer.

Lilly,

I had to go out and get something at the store. Mary wanted to come with me, so I did. We should be back soon.

I love you

Spencer.

I smiled and got dressed. Let's say these pass few days have been amazing. We adopted Mary and Mary is so happy about having a mother and father. We live at my house, just until Spencer and I can find a better house in Virginia to live in. I have to say even though we have these scary jobs, Mary can see us as the good guys, and not the bad ones.

Anyway today was my birthday and I just wanted to spend it with Spencer and Mary. I walked downstairs and cooked some breakfast. As I finished cooking I started eating. Once I was done my phone went off. I looked at it to see it was Hotch.

"Hello," I said as I picked up the phone.

"Hey Johnson. I need you to come in. It's important," Hotch says.

"Okay boss I am on my way," I said. I hanged up and put my plate in the sink. I left a note for Mary and Spencer saying I was going to the BAU. I got my keys and messenger bag and went to the car. I got in and put on my seat belt. Once I did, I started the car and was only my way to the BAU.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I got to the BAU and walked in. I walked up to Hotch's office to see he wasn't in it.

"Hello," I said. I walked around until I got to the conference room to see the lights were off. I turned the lights on.

"Happy birthday!" Everyone said. I smiled.

So one more chapter until this book is done. I hope this was good. Just Spencer and Lilly adopting Mary, and Lilly's birthday. Next chapter will be something big. Love you all.
