• Unexpected Situation •

Soobin got home safely, but he was sulky because he didn't get to have a pet cat. He was now by the living room of his apartment, laying on the couch. He felt tired, but he knew it was just his lack of stamina and laziness. It was a long day for him, from working and experiencing to handle a Karen, to having useless members for his project, and ending up witnessing a murder scene. It was a weird start of the week.

At least, he knew the killer's name: Choi Yeonjun. He was the popular boy in the school he was learning, he got everyone wrapped around his fingers. Everyone. But Soobin was an exception. Beomgyu and Huening were also drooling over him.. yet Soobin didn't know why. He didn't find Yeonjun handsome or anything until now. Was he into red flags? - was seeing Yeonjun a bad boy enough to turn him on?... that was too much of overthinking for Soobin.

He sat up and buried his face into the palms of his hands. His heart was beating rapidly. This was new for him. He had never felt like this before, it was unfamiliar and it will take a while for him to accustom. "Choi Yeonjun.." that person was running in his thoughts right now. The close up view of his face, his skin was so smooth, eyelashes slightly curled, lips were looking soft and in the perfect the color of crimson, blood that was wiped on his face which made him look sexy, he was really caught off guard.

Sigh. He didn't know what to do. Soobin couldn't rest for his head is working a lot, which is giving him a painful headache. He grabbed his phone on the table and contacted Beomgyu.

"Yah, Beomgyu-ah.." Soobin whined. Beomgyu was Soobin's safe place. They're each other's home. Huening Kai and Soobin were gums, they stick close to each other no matter what. Out of the three, he was the oldest. Huening Kai and Beomgyu was like little brothers that Soobin could come to whenever he's bored or down.

Although Soobin was well-known, he only chose to be friends to those he liked the most. He wasn't picky, he was wise. Soobin had met and saw a lot of backstabbers, but hadn't experience someone betraying him once. That was because he was clever, and he always observed everything even if he was naive.

Talk about Soobin's days, he was someone who always gets into trouble but luckily gets out of it safely. He barely has a normal day. Chaos always gets ahead of him, abnormal and rare experiences that cross his path of life, but because of his intelligence and exact knowledge, he handles them pretty quickly and fine.

"What?" Beomgyu lowly groaned through the phone, it took a while before he answered the call, Soobin assumed that he just woke up from his sleep.

"I met a killer."

"WHAT?!" The other exclaimed in shock and worry, the sudden news caused consternation. The loud noise from the phone almost made Soobin deaf, so he decided to distance the phone away for the sake of his eardrums and prevent losing the ability to hear.

Even if Yeonjun had told him not to tell his identity, Soobin couldn't help but just tell his best friend. Playing safe, Soobin didn't directly mention his name.

"Well.. weird, but I was just following a cute cat!" Soobin frowned, actually not knowing how and why now that he's come to think of it. He was never the type of person to leave his surroundings unnoticed. Was there unknowingly something luring about the cat?

"It is weird." Beomgyu spoke bluntly, "But gladly, you came out alive.." he continued to add with apprehension in his voice.

"Was the killer hot?" Soobin could sense the smirk on Beomgyu's face, if only he could punch that deranged person.
