In the morning, V was at the dead drop location, eagerly waiting to retrieve their new arm. As he stood there, leaning his back against the wall, V saw a delivery man who appeared to be a faunus, with animal-like features such as pointed ears and a tail.
"you Vincent?" The faunus asked.
V nodded and replied, "That's me. You must be the delivery person for my new arm."
The faunus smiled and handed over a package, saying, "Yep, that's right. I hope it serves you well. This is quite the first time for a customer to put a dead drop location for a replica of a silver arm."
V took the package from the faunus and examined it carefully.
"I didn't want Ozpin or anyone else thinking I was buying something shady for the academy," V said, lying about his reasons for the dead drop location.
The faunus nodded understandingly and said, "I get it. Gotta keep things low-key sometimes."
V smirked and replied, "Exactly. Plus, it adds a little mystery to the whole thing, don't you think?" The faunus chuckled and bid V farewell before disappearing into the crowd.
"Well, well," Johnny said as he digitally appeared in front of V. "Looks like post-ops are smooth in Vale; let's open it."
V grinned at Johnny's arrival, appreciating his partner's knack for stealthy entrances.
Without a word, V drew his knife from his pocket and opened the box with practiced precision. Inside was the item Johnny had ordered: the replica of his silver arm.
"looks much cooler in material than it does on you, no offense," V said.
Johnny smirked and shrugged. "None taken. But you have to admit, it's a damn good replica."
V nodded in agreement, admiring the intricate details of the silver arm.
"Put it on; let's see how it feels," Johnny suggested, extending the replica towards V.
V then put the replica on his left arm, feeling the weight and smoothness of the silver against his skin. As V flexed his fingers, he couldn't help but marvel at how seamlessly the replica arm moved with his own motions. It was as if it had been tailor-made specifically for him. Johnny grinned, satisfied with V's reaction.
"Look at you, another version of me," Johnny said with a chuckle. V couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Johnny as they both admired the replica arm.
"Not bad, where did you find it?" V asked Johnny, who chuckled and leaned back, crossing his arms. "Let's just say I found a bootleg site that specializes in bootlegging and giving the ordinary person the cash they deserve," Johnny replied with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
"How did they get it to Vale?" V asked, curious about the logistics of obtaining the replica arm.
Johnny leaned forward, a sly grin on his face. "Well, let's just say they pay the post office a hefty sum to ensure their packages are delivered discreetly and without any questions asked," Johnny explained. V nodded, impressed by Johnny's resourcefulness.
"That's pretty clever," V commented, appreciating the lengths Johnny went to in order to acquire the replica arm.
Soon after returning, the Vytal festival had started, and the tournament had also begun as V was watching Team RWBY fighting Team ABRN in the tournament.
