*The Next Day*

P.I.X.A.L’s P.O.V:

Yesterday I had told the ice ninja everything that I was going through. It felt good and he had given me some advice. So, I will take that advice and use it!

Today I woke up earlier than usual and got ready. But, I was still late. I can talk to Zane during lunch. When I went to my Father, he had already made pancakes.

“Early today?” Father asked.

“Yeah, I am just getting ready for a small task that needs to be done,” I said.

“Oh, that is really good to hear,” Father ate a bit out of his pancake,“I like that you are going back to your old self.”

I smiled, I just wished that was true.

“I have to go now, Father. Bye!” I said, hugging him.

“Have a good day and make sure to study,” Father said.

“I will!” I said.

With that I ran out of the building and it was raining. I was prepared for this! I took out my umbrella and started walking towards school.

When I did reach, I closed my umbrella and went into the office. There I dried my umbrella and I could tell the office lady was giving me a side eye.

“Do you always like to make my office wet?” she asked.

“I'm sorry,” I said.

She passed me a tardy slip and I walked on campus to my First period. I hated English! Who on Earth decided that we needed English as a subject like we could speak it well enough! I remember when I used to love all the subjects, but school started becoming a hated place since my brother left.

I entered my class and I noticed that all eyes were on me. Great!

“Well, well, well, who do we have here?” Ms.Hemforth asked.

I stared at the ground, embarrassed.

“Do you think my class is a joke?! You come about 30 minutes late each day!” She yelled.

“I'm sorry, I thought I was early today,” I said.

The whole class started laughing.

“Early? By what? 2 minutes?!” Ms.Hemforth yelled.

“I'm so sorry,” I said.

“Just sit down. Now where were we? How to write a proper letter because I thought you guys already learnt this, but it seems half of you don't know,” Ms.Hemforth said.

I sat next to Zane and started doing my work.

“Hi, P.I.X.A.L,” Zane said.

“Hello, Zane,” I said, smiling at him.

His expression changed into a shocked one.

“Are you not mad at us?” Zane asked.

“No, not really. I just wish you guys will never do that again,” I said.

“We promise we won't,” said all my friends at once.

I smiled at them.

“Promise you won't do what? Also, no talking! Listen to my lesson,” Ms.Hemforth said.

She seemed more angry today.

“Zane, I would like to talk about something with you,” I said.

I was finished with my letter because I learnt how to write a letter at a young age. This was because my Father would need help with it and I would be there to help him write a letter. My brother taught me how to write it.

“Sure, go ahead. You can always ask me anything,” Zane said.

“Did you help the rest with invading my room?” I asked.

“No, not at all! I didn't want them to do it at all and I didn't help them either. But, I'm not trying to look like the good guy here because I didn't exactly try to stop them,” Zane said.

I hugged Zane. It was a quick huge so Ms.Hemforth wouldn't notice and say something.

“I knew I couldn't trust you, Zane!” I said.

He looked flabbergasted and he was still.

“Zane?”

“Oh…yeah! Of course, I will never break your trust,” Zane said.

I smiled at him and for the rest of the school day we spent with each other. Now all I had to wait for was meeting the Ice Ninja. He did help me a lot! And I think he is the only nicest ninja. I can't wait to meet him!
