Chapter 4

"Brian, who am I going to stay with?" Asked Milly "while your working?"

Brian ran a hand through his hair, he hadn't though about that.

"What about Mia?" Milly suggested, Brian sighed, he hadn't spoken to her since Jesse was killed, he'd let Dom go, and the truth about him being a cop had come out. and they didn't end on the best of terms. But Mia did say she'd watch her anytime.

"I'll ring her, once I've put you to bed." Brian said but he didn't like his chances, she was in LA, they were in Miami.

Brian had put Milly to bed and took a deep breath as he dialled Mia's number, waiting for her to answer.

"Brian?" Mia's voice answered, she sounded surprised and unimpressed.

"How are you." Brian asked

"Fine." Mia muttered "how can I help you?"

Brian sighed "I know this is out of the blue, but I'm going to need a sitter for Milly, for a few days at the most." He told her "she asked for you."

This time it was Mia's turn to sigh. "I can watch her." Mia agreed "I'm assuming your still in Miami, I've seen the news."

"Yeah, I'm still in Miami." Brian tells her

"Look, I'll fly to you guys." Mia tells him "it'll be better for Mils to be in her own house, I'll try and be there tomorrow afternoon."

"Thank you Mia." Brian says "I better let you go."

"I'll see you soon." Mia said, although I'm she didn't sound very impressed about it

"Mia, it was nice talking to you." Brian says

"Yeah." Mia agrees, before hanging up.

Brian sighed as he stood up, walking into Milly's bed room.

"He Milly moo, are you still awake?" He asked gently

"Yeah." She said sitting up "you only just put me to bed like 5 minutes ago." She smiled "did you ring Mia?"

Brian nodded "yeah, she's going to come here."

"When's she coming." Asked Milly

"Tomorrow." Brian says kissing her forehead. "Try get some sleep."

"Night Brian." Milly said "love you."

"Love you to baby."

Brian and Milly were eating pizza for there dinner, Mia had landed and was on her way to there house. Brian started working tomorrow, but had to leave early to meet up with Roman and Monica.

"Who left you in charged of a kid?" Mia couldn't help but chuckle, as she walked into the house. Brian and Milly were sitting on the couch in the living room, Brian's old Nintendo NES set up, as they played super Mario Bros, Left over Pizza discarded on the coffee table in front of them, Milly's doll and all her clothes strewn across the floor.

"Mia!" Milly exclaimed running over to her

"Do people not knock these day?" Brian couldn't help but comment.

"Nice to see you too." Mia said "and for the record I knocked and no one answered, you were to busy playing video games."

"Do you want some Pizza?" Milly asked, "Me and Brian made it." She added proudly, Mia couldn't help but smile, the amount of love she had for Brian was so sweet.

"No thank baby, I ate before my flight." Mia smiled

"Can I get you anything?" Brian asked

"No thanks." Mia said
